Wishes Cruise Photos or Videos

Here's a few from my birthday wishes cruise on 9/25. I highly recommend this cruise. The pictures really doesn't do it justice because it appears like we were farther away than we really were. The view was unobstructed and incredible.
(The pix are a little blurry due to the movement of the boat in the water)

Not the greatest photo. Water was a little choppy that night. But here we are on a "birthday decorated" WISHES cruise. We cruised around the lake during the show. I was able to shoot the contemporary in a few of these photos.Wish they were a lil bit clear'er though.

Thanks FigmentGuy, those are so cool! I'm confused though. How were you able to get an angle of fireworks over the Contemporary? It's such an unusual and beautiful image, I'd love to get that opportunity too.

Well... Long story short. I reserved the birthday cruise for my boyfriend in october for our december trip. About a week before the trip I called to confirm the reservation. (this was my first time to disney, he has been multiple times,, so I wanted to suprise him with something new and thoughtful). Well the night of our cruise MVMMCP thingy was to take place DURING MY RESERVATION. So when confirming my reservation the CM said "im soo sorry, but you will not see fireworks that night...blah blah blah... too bad for you want a refund" LOL I was like... "um... well. I just heard about the MAGIC of disney.. this is a birthday suprise..blah blah,...can you work anything out for me?" so she spoke with someone else and told me.. "hold on to this reservation, we will see what we can do... if we cant get you fireworks then we will get you the refund..." SO.. the day of..... I call again, same answer.

We show up to the dock, expecting a decline of sorts.. and viola! there was the decorated pontoon boat. A CM who was on like her 13th hour of working that day was our captin.... She was the sweetest person! She said "i heard your dilema and I took the case!" SO... we had the birthday cake... and pop... and fireworks. MVMMCP has different fireworks then WISHES.. so what you see in these pics are MVMMCP fireworks. Since they are different, and are "deployed" differently then WISHES, We had to sit in an uncommon part of the lake to remain safe from the exploding fireworks etc... HENCE why I have the Contemp. in the photos...

PS... My Bf was reaaaaaaaaal suprised. I would post the pic of him on the boat, but he would kill me. hahahhahaha... So him, his sister, his mother and I spent a magical night on the lake. One of the best highlights to that trip!

That was a great idea and clearly a magical experience. I know some people have been worried about the MVMCP fireworks not making for a good cruise. If the new show this year is anything like the one you saw, they're in for a treat! Thanks again.
