Wishes Cruise / MK Event question

We've got a boat booked for a night when MK closes early for the Halloween party. I already know we'll be 'parked' on Bay Lake instead of Seven Seas Lagoon (because they'll be doing some of the pyrotechnics on or over or from or something the SSL area).

Has anybody here ever watched the fireworks from a boat on Bay Lake? How's the view? And, probably a dumb question - was it fun?

We have seen the fireworks from both locations - once during the MVMCP (in Bay Lake) and the other in the Seven Seas Lagoon. I have to be honest, watching the fireworks from the Lagoon was a little more moving. The location affords a "head on" view of the castle and the park. However, the view of the fireworks from Bay Lake was just wonderful. Both times we had fabulous captains and the music was piped into the boats. I will suggest that even though blankets are provided on the boats, make sure you have your sweatshirts with you - it gets chilly out on the water (even in Florida). Rest assured that you will have a great view from the lake. Have a wonderful cruise!!

We are thinking about doing a Wishes cruise on a MNSSHP night. Does anyone have any pictures of the view from Bay Lake? I am hoping this side view is worth the price of the cruise! Is it similar to the view from the Contemporary tower and California Grill?
