Ok..i saw the thread about people wanting to share cruises for fireworks and now I am curious.

Ideally we would probably do the Wishes Cruise..maybe even for DSs bday on April 28th. My question is this. My eldest will be turning 3 that day and my youngest will be 1.5yrs. Are they too young? Will it likely freak them out? For those of you who have done the cruise, please let me know.

We took my 2 1/2 year old DD on an Illuminations Cruise last month. She feel asleep shortly after the boat pulled away from the dock and slept through the entire thing, lol! :confused3 The lovely lady here from the DIS and her DH who were nice enough to share their cruise with us had their 3 year old DS along (it was his birthday). He fell asleep too!

I think how well they would do depends upon their personalities. My DD loves fireworks and the loud noise doesn't bother her at all, so I thought she would enjoy it. I'm sorry she missed all the 'good stuff' and we'll try again next time if we can. Of course, with the Wishes cruise you're not nearly as close to the fireworks as with the Illuminations Cruise, so maybe the noise wouldn't even be a factor in that case.
