Wish vs Fantasy

This makes me nervous! My husband and I only sailed DCL once. Two years ago in the wish and loved it! But all we have heard was how awful is compared to the other ships. So we are sailing in the fantasy leaving this Saturday, and this time with toddler. Now I’m nervous we will hate it!!
Don't be nervous. The Fantasy is a fantastic ship. We love the Fantasy and will be on her again in February. Most criticisms are so subjective (did I get that right?) that I ignore most reviews. The only things I look at are the things that can't be biased based on opinion. Did the ship sink? No? Good. Everyone's experience will be totally different based on their personal likes/dislikes. Go with an open mind and experience it for yourself. :)

Objectively my non ambulatory son was able to ride the Aqua Mouse multiple times because it is accessible.

Objectively my wife and I almost killed ourselves getting him up to the Aqua Duck to ride it one time because it’s not accessible.

There are pros and cons to each ship, it’s all in the eye of the beholder.

Looking forward to our Treasure cruise in the Spring.

How was lookout cay? I’ve been reading not great reviews
I’m guessing you’ve left and come back already? Interested in your thoughts! We had fun I just probably wouldn’t do the older ships anymore. The treasure looks amazing.
I LOVED lookout cay but I will caveat this with saying we had a cabana. The beaches there were probably the most beautiful I’ve seen. We spent the day in the cabana and on the beach, there’s a dining spot over there and we took the tram to see the Junkanoo celebration and do some shopping.

I appreciate seeing what everyone could take or leave from each ship. We’ve sailed the Magic and Wonder, and have the Wish and Fantasy booked for next year. I know they will both be different from our past DCL experiences and I’m looking forward to both new experiences.
