Wish Virtual Portholes?

I've look at images and videos and it does not appear that the inside staterooms on the Wish have the virtual portholes. We liked that on our Fantasy cruise where we booked an inside. Have I missed something?

You haven't... I had the same question and everyone is saying they did not include them which is a bummer IMO. I liked them as well but assume anything that encourages people to pay LESS for a cruise is a failed idea in their book.

Perhaps it's because they don't have as many inside rooms it wasn't worth the investment?

It is a shame - it was always something I enjoyed.... that said, like someone else posted, I would seem the main aim of the Wish (and probably all of DCL going forward) is to get maximum profit - this is something else to maintain and power i guess

I am actually surprised they don't have this. Maybe they figure with so few inside cabins they don't need extra enticements to sell those out.

Agreed. We sailed inside on our first Fantasy cruise and loved the magical portholes.

Never stayed in one of those rooms before but that was a nice touch for kids I'm sure. Hopefully they replace it with something fun.

Saving money by not installing it, & also not encouraging people to sail in the cheaper inside staterooms via cool perks seems to better fit Disney's current modus operandi.

Well, that's fair. Though to be honest, I am actually quite impressed that with COVID-19, we didn't see so may cost-saving cuts that the Wish ended up as a carbon copy of the Fantasy with a different stage show. They have done a lot to innovate on the Wish, and I'd rather have new features that add something unique to the fleet like the Aqua Mouse, Hero activity space, and Star Wars lounge than a virtual porthole that I can still book on 2 out 5 Disney ships.

I loved them virtual port holes. We mainly sail in inside staterooms. 18 out of 22 Disney cruises have been inside stateroom. Going to book the wish tomorrow and will still go with 11 A what we normally book.
