Marilyn, we kept the old cast.

Dakota really loved that saw.

Bad news. Well, not really, really bad. He had to have another cast. The bone is still too soft. The dr was afraid with him being 6 yo and a little, as the dr put it, hard headed, that he'd do more damage to it if he just put a brace on it. His new cast is bright orange. I hope he doesn't swing his arm too much and distract traffice anywhere. He loves wearing a cast. He has to wear this one for 18 more days, then we'll x-ray again and see if he can go into a brace.

Sorry to hear he had to have another one. My DS had to have 3 all together, they were shorter and shorter! Best of Luck on this one. By the way, DS was 18 when he broke this arm! (jumping over a fence to impress a girl....she was impressed alright, she Laughed her A** off when he fell).

It was so funny when we were waiting to make our next appointment. Dakota kept whispering to me "Moma, there's MICKEY!". I was like "Ok, I've got my son imagining he's seeing Mickey Mouse all the time now." I didn't see Mickey. Finally he told me "That lady has Mickey on her purse!". Sure enough, she had little Mickey ears for zippers on her purse! And I overlooked it! (I don't look at purses).
