Wish Trip

Well, we are leaving in 18 days!

Make a Wish was able to move everything up. we had planned to wait till christmas, but had to go now so that she could be listed for transplant.

I have not received confirmations yet, they said next week. that is cutting it really close.

I am also watching Hurricane Frances- see if she is going to effect anything.

DD has her first round of tests tomorrow- it will be all day! we will be going from clinic to clinic. have to be there at 8 am and are not done till 3 pm. she will still have another day of tests next week.


I got a call earlier and was able to get the castle b-fast!!

Congratulations on the upcomming with trip. Were we suppose to leave for our daughters wish trip this Sunday...early....but just got word today that the whole trip has been cancled due to the threat of hurricane francis . Were all bummed....we were suppose to be staying at GKTW but they put out the issue today that ALL wish trips at this time for the week (up to this Sunday) have been cancled...and since our wish trip was suppose to start this Sunday...ours fell in the cancled area.

So I wish you the best...and all the luck in the world that everything works out for your daughters trip.

Jill- are you still going on your cruise? I can't imagine the anticipation of your trip and then having it cancelled, but better to be safe. Anne- hope you have a wonderful trip! Kathy

Anne, I know ya'll are excited about the trip! Congratulations on getting the PS at the castle. That will be great! How did the test go?

Scrapperjill, I am so very sorry that the trip had to be cancelled. The storm is supposed to be so bad. I am glad ya'll won't be there during it. Do you know when it may be rescheduled for?

GKTW said that all the wish trip that are cancled due to the hurricane will have first priority on rescheduling...but they won't even think or look into rescheduling until mid October. I was trying to get them to reschedule us for the week after th cruise...but that's a no go. So as of now...the cruise is still set..but the WDW portion is not. But since they can not "break" up the wish and pay for our transportation twice...we have to either bag the whole thing and reschedule it all....or get our own transportation (airfair) to to port. Which is a very large chunck that we were not ready or expecting to foot. We have all waited sooo long...and with Sydney just getting out of the hospital...we all really need the vacation and break. With all the test, procedures, treatments and surgerys she just went through...the upcomming trip was what really helped her (Sydney) get through all of it....so were going to see what we can do to go on with the cruise plans next week.

Any one know how frequent flyer miles work...(we have a person at Jesses work that offered us some miles to use...but didn't know if that was possable)

I am very sorry your trips are being re-arranged and impacted by the storm. The good news is, that you weren't ON the trip when the storm came.

GOOD LUCK with arrangements. We had a wish trip and it was truly magical.
