Just random thinking here......
I know there is the "Kingdom Hearts" 1 and 2 games :thumbsup2 for Playstation and the old "Magic Kingdom" game that was for the old NES nintendo system. However, how great would it be if there was a video game that had Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Epcot, TL and BB. You could walk through each park and play each ride. How fun would that be???

That would pretty much be the most fun game ever.

We have disney world racing for our old dreamcast system where you race through several of the rides (well at least gideo game versions of the rides they are far from exact) and I loved it. We keep the old system hooked up just so we can pull out this game every once in a while.

The closest thing to itis Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 and you can download rides created by other players. Some are pretty accurate as to the rides they reperesent. Youtube does have some of the videos of these user created rides posted.

I'm surprised Disney hasn't done it yet. We have some of the board games, which are fun, but a video game would be extra fun. :thumbsup2

Oh, I remember playing Magic Kingdom as a kid. That was so fun! Something like the OP described would be even better! Then I could spend half of my time on the DIS and half playing that and get absolutely nothing done in my "real" life! (As opposed to now, where I spend 3/4 of my time on the DIS and manage to get some "real" life work done during the remaining quarter of the day! :rotfl: )

You missed out on the Virtual Magic Kingdom (VMK). Disney is closing it on May 21st. It was a free game on the Disney web site and while it centered on DL, it had elements of the other parks thrown in to. So sad. Some pics of it are in my signature. Sorry you missed out on it. It was amazing, and many of us players are very upset that Disney is ending it. :sad1:

They had one-VMK and it was great fun! :sad2: You can still catch it for a few days at www.vmk.com. There were also 2 older computer games with the rides (videos) and hidden Mickeys in them called The Walt Disney World Explorer.

There is a Disney racing game. Its a PS2 game but it does freeze up on our PS3 . It's adorable!

We also have the Disney World Racing game; it's made for the original Playstation but we play it on our Playstation 2. Our DS 5 and DS 6 LOVE it! Every night we have family racing competitions through Disney World. I would highly recommend this game, if you can still find it.

I've heard talk of VMK closing down...but haven't yet seen why they are shutting it down. Anyone know anything about it?

I had a game for Gameboy that was the Magical Racing Tour (or something like that). You raced other characters through rides from all over the parks and got pieces to the fireworks machine so you could save the fireworks show! :woohoo: it was fun!

Disney says it was just a "promotion" for DL's 50th bday. But...many contest that. There has not been an official word......or at least one that makes sense in my opinion! :sad2:

OT, but wasn't that Magic Kingdom game AWESOME! The only bit that pissed me off was the ending (I won't spoil it for those of you who never made it, but I was pretty disappointed) I'm gonna have to dig the system back out...

Moved thread here where it is a better fit.:goodvibes :goodvibes Danny

I would pay quite a bit of money for a game that was like what the original poster mentioned. I own both of the Disney World Explorer PC "games", but that just isn't quite good enough...a game like RCT3 or something just like a Sims to walk around Disney World and ride the rides would be totally awesome. I would pay $150 for a game like that...no exaggeration...in fact, I think I would pay every cent that I have...I guess you can call me obsessed...
