I've received many requests for the WISH shirt artwork. I would like to make the artwork available for anyone who WISHes to use it!

However, in order to keep the use in line with the WISH Team spirit, there are a couple of rules.

RULES FOR USE OF WISH TEAM ARTWORK.
1) The artwork is copyright protected and as such contains all the protection provided under the US Copyright Law.
2) The artwork can be used for individual use only. This means, you can put the artwork on items for yourself and family and friends, but not on anything that can or will be merchandised in any fashion.
3) The artwork may not be altered in anyway.
4) Any printing that will be more than just your local group (i.e., a whole WISH Team item) must receive written permission from me in advance.
5) All printing from this point on must contain the copyright line.

If I should be absent for a while and you need to contact me, please send Lily, Carrie, Cam, or Mel after me!

The high-resolution artwork can be found at:

Thanks everyone and happy WISHing!

HI, Sunny! We haven't met, but I wanted to thank you for our lovely shirts. Somewhere around mile 11 of the half someone behind me said, "Your shirt is inspiring me." I told her my shirt inspires me!

Thank you, and glad to see you around these parts. :)

Thanks Sunny! I can't see the one for the back though. Can you possilby check that one?

Thanks for posting these!

Hi Sunny,
I love your work! I would like to put the back design on the back of a t-shirt for my sister and I (we're running the Donald in January). Would you mind if I crop the design so only the top part prints?

I'm not Sunny, but I think her points #3 and #5 cover your request--the artwork can't be altered and must include the copyright line.

If I understand you correctly, you're asking about the DLF motto? Great isn't it? :goodvibes It's what attracted me to WISH, in part, although I'd been a DISer for a long time before that. I'd never have made it through my first race without these good people.

So, personally, I'd be a little peeved to see a shirt with the DLF motto separated from the WISH logo. I'm sure that's not your intentions, but the two go together in my mind. Why would you want to separate them, if I may ask? If it's a concern about the size of the font, let me assure you that the DLF stuff is easily legible.

I think you are correct Deek. I will create something on my own for the back of our shirts. I wanted to use the motto because I like it. Is is a variation of something John "The Penguin" Bingham wrote? It sounds like him. I am not interested in having the DIS and Wish info on the shirts because my sister is not Disney or DIS obsessed like I am and I do not want her to feel excluded. No worries. I will do something else.

No, I don't think DLF is a Bingham variation--not from what I've read of his, anyway. The courage to start is a phrase he uses, though.

I hope you don't read this my comments the wrong way--you're more than welcome to create a personal WISH shirt. And I hope you and your DSis attend the WISH meet on Friday. It's a fun time. Besides, I'm not sure you need to be Disney/DIS obsessed to enjoy the team meets and course support.

As an example: My DH isn't a huge Disney fan, but met WISHers last year for the first at the meet. I wore my WISH shirt on the course, where I was with other WISHers, and he didn't. He was so impressed by how welcoming everyone was that he asked for one to wear this year. He's still not that into Disney, but he feels being identified with the group anyway. :goodvibes

But I understand if you and/or DSis don't want to identify (this year) with WISH. There are a lot of great mottos out there to choose from. If you like John Bingham's stuff, you might check out One More Mile Running. They have a lot of quirky running (and walking) t-shirts and have some sort of affiliation with Bingham. One of my faves? In My Dreams I am a Kenyan!
