Seeing as teh question was raised on teh Minnie roster thread, I guess it's time to think about it again.

IMO we should stick with teh same logos, as we had so many compliments on the back this year. Someone even made my mom turn around SUnday night so that she could show her friend the back and show her "what got her through the race."

This will make the shirts slightly cheaper too, as the screens are already set up.

Color - Ihear there was discussion on changing to orange, as lime is getting more popular. I did not think it was that bad, but am open to change. Here is teh orange we would have if we wanted to switch.

All styles are available, just llike the lime. Let me know what you think and I'll see if we have enough interest to get an order together before the Minnie.

What is the WTPCLC? Out of the loop.....that makes all systems normal!:lmao:

Love the logos and the saying on the back! Never change it! Not a huge fan of orange...maybe electric blue :teeth:

There was also some discussion about polyester wicking shirts which I would totally love!

I love the shirt design the way it is. Have worn it to 3 races & have gotten many positive comments on it.

Also, I think the color should stay the green for 3 reasons:

1. It's the color associated with the Dis

2. We already have socks & wrist bands in green. We either wouldn't be color coordinateed :lmao: or we would have to start all over.

3. I've gotten used to looking for green. :lmao:

I'm getting so excited that the shirt design may not change! I was so sad because after missing this year's race I wouldn't get to wear the one we spent countless hours and threads on trying to get it just right. I absolutely love it and let's please keep it at least one more year so I can wear it!!!

But I do agree that we need it made out of new material. Something about the thick band around the neck of mine wasn't comfortable.

I think the green would be the easiest to spot and for reading the logo. I'd say keep it the same but maybe check into a polyester type wicking shirt.

I would love to get a WISH shirt- who would I contact on that? I am a newbie, but I made it for my first ever 2-miler today! (I couldn't run 1 lap around the track when I started at the beginning of December!) :guilty:

Anyway, I love the suggestion about the wicking shirts- I actually work at a small privately owned running store, and we sell a lot of technical clothing. We also do a lot of local team orders, and I remember one of my catalogs (Soffe, I think) sent us a "technical tee" that seemed pretty decent. I can maybe check around and give you some ideas on companies to get them from, and what wholesale prices might be like! I work tomorrow, and if I can get some down time, I will look and see what you might be able to get.

I definitely love the design just as it is! And the safety yellow shows up so well. I posted on the main thread that I have seen safety lime green shirts worn by the utility workers in my community, but I haven't seen that color on any websites for tech clothing. For me, the most important thing about the color is that it is highly visible - a glow in the dark, you almost need sunglasses on to look at it, color. And Lynne is looking at a site to order hats, we would definitely want to coordinate the color if at all possible!

It was just so cool last weekend to spot our WISH shirts, and we really stood out!

I would also love to have a WISH shirt. Is it still possible to get one?

Thanks!

Susan

I love the colour and the logos, the only reason I didn't wear mine in 2006 was the fabric, if we go wicky they'll be perfect (I'm also voting for tank as well as sleeved options!)

I haven't really seen what the logo says as this is my first year but I do definatley like the lime green, whenever I see it at WDW I think they must be DIS'ers.

Can someone post what the front and back looked like?
Kim

If someone can find safety lime elsewhere, I'd be glad to switch shirt companies, although it will cost to set up screens again. However, if you ordered the Moisture Wick ones, they were polyester and wick. So, I'm a little confused by those who posted that they want polyester and wicking. :confused3

"These breathable 'Moisture-Wick' T-Shirts quickly wick moisture away from the body and into the air, thus keeping the wearer cool, dry and comfortable. 100% Spun Microfiber Polyester with a soft cotton-like feel."

Shirt Fronts - Just the same as the green clippie (see HOckeychic's sig)

I opted to wear my lime green Race Ready singlet instead of my WISH shirt because of the heat. I would love to see the WISH logo on CoolMax type material like Race Ready uses. Yeah, the cost would be a lot more, but the shirt would be more practical for most of the races that I do.

I love the shirts the way they are!! They are very distintive and easy to spot, even when in a crowd!

I love the soft feel of the wicking shirts! I would definately order more if I knew where or whom to contact!

My step-SIL runs an embroidery/silkscreening shop, and I'm seeing if she can get safety lime shirts that are the same material as the official Disney marathon shirts we got in our goody bags. I'll keep you posted.
