Sign me up - it sounds like fun! I think it will be just me, but I am traveling with friends and one or more of them may want to join us as well. I will let you know!

Has anyone seen this: Also new in 2010, Marathon Weekend participants will be able to purchase tickets for an exclusive in park party that will take place Sunday night. More details will be posted as they are finalized at disneyworldmarathon.com under the Travel Details/More Magic tab.

I did see that and is probably something like the one that they had during the Princess Half Marathon.

What was that like, Tracy? (for those of us who lamely didn't go and didn't pay that much attention to the Princess) Was it a regular P&P party? Did they charge an arm and a leg?

I did not go to the "after party" which I think was as Hollywood studios. It was a separate ticket, kinda like a P&P party or mickey's VMCP. It was kinda expensive I thought and MK was open the same night as EMH late, so we just went there instead. maybe check out last year's Princess thread as I know there were some that went.

I went. Originally there was supposed to be a P&PP. I thought it was okay, but I might now do that party again. I'd like to see what they are offering. If it is the same kind of party, then I won't do it.

If its the same as P&P or the one after EEC, it's EMH with a DJ.

Liz: if there is still room please count me and the family in. Me, DH and Savannah. Let me know...

Yay!!! Brandie is coming to the PARTY!!! whoo hoo!!:woohoo:

Tracy

Liz: Is there space for 1(or maybe 2 more)?

What is your drop dead date to add. I need to check my schedule but I think the Panda needs someone to watch out for him:thumbsup2

This sounds fun but I fear by the time 9:30 rolls around I would be curled up in a ball under my chair sleeping, lol. I might try to swing by as you all are setting up and say my hellos.

Yeah, I say curled up in a ball like my body would still be capable of getting into that position, lol.

Robert - Drop dead date for signing up is Nov 1st. That gives time for everyone to pay and me to get it to Disney.

Katie - Aw come on! You know you wanna! And we'll hold each other up.

The menus are out!!

Here are the two plus the cost pp which includes space rental, tax, svc charge. Price is based on number of confirmed as of today. We get more people, price goes down!

Let me check with the party coming with me Liz. We usually do a big celebration dinner on Sunday night because we have a birthday that always falls right around Marathon weekend as well as another birthday this year so we might not have room for that much chocolate, lol.

I'm having a tough time voting for a dessert. I have some issues with sugar, so I'm mostly interested in the fresh fruit. It's hard to tell if the fruit that's included in the chocolate package is more like a garnish or decorative item (what do they mean by "display"?) or if there would actually be enough for everyone to load their plates with it should they choose to do so. I'd be happy with the apples in the childhood package too, but the chocolate sounds like there might be more variety to choose from.

The fresh fruit is a mix of fruit for eating/dipping the the ganache so it is a good amount.

If you or anyone has food allergies, please let me know! Disney is happy to provide alternatives if we have someone with special dietary needs.
