Man ,I wish Disney would get a TV channel,and put nothing but old disney cartoons,movies and shows. Like the ones where Walt himself introduced things. Im sorry BUT I HATE the new Disney channel. I dont care about all these kid drama shows. BLAH. I hate the new format. any you guys feel the same?

A "Classic Disney" channel would be awesome! They could show old Mickey Mouse Club episodes, Wonderful World of Disney eps, Disney shorts, "surprise" movies (maybe one-night-only "from the vault" movies). I know such a channel would be in regular rotation in our house.

The Disney Channel was like that when it first came on. I used to watch the orginal Mickey Mouse Club and the Walt Disney shows when i got home after working second shift. It also had shows about Disney World and DisneyLand. I miss those days.

I can't stand the new Mickey Mouse Club since it is done in CGI. It just doesn't have the heart and soul of the old hand drawn shows.

Although my kiddos are little, we watch Mickey, Manny, and Phineas and Ferb but Disney goes off when Hannah Montana and the like come on. I can't stand them!

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE! a Disney classics channel, much like Nick at Night was when it first hit the air.

I really don't like the Disney Channel...period!! The "tween" shows drive me nuts-- kids don't need to learn that kind of attitude, especially from TV, especially from "wholesome Disney". I prefer PBS kids shows for her, too.

DITTO! I miss the old specials which were classics when I was a kid...Davy Crockett, Zorro, Johnny Tremain, the Swamp Fox. They were shown in syndication as after school specials in the 80's. I think the show was called The Wonderful World of Disney and always had an intro by Walt Disney. I would love to see them again!

I don't mind my kids watching most of the Disney shows now that they are 9 and 13. When they were younger we kept them from some of the "tween" stuff.

But a classics channel would be nice.

I agree my kids are not real interested in the drama show either. We loved House of Mouse, but lost that show when it changed to disney xd. What actual Mickey shows do they have on the air besides Mickey Mouse Clubhouse? We want to see Mickey/The fab 5!

I agree with all of you 110% too bad my kids boo me for this.. I have a HannahFanatic.. So I must watch this show and explain to my 9 year old how this girl is just pretending.

My kids usually put in DVD's now to watch the older shows. They don't care much for these newer shows. (Which that doesn't bother me) Then I don't have to watch that junk. I love the older cartoons. We usually put on in on friday nights and watch it as a family night. We take turns each week who gets to pick the movie. It's fun and keeps the disney spirit going!

My boys love the Disney Channel. They like watching Sonny with a Chance, Phinneas and Ferb, Wizards of Waverly Place, etc they get excited when they come out with new movies (ex: StarStruck) If we can't watch it when they first come on we record it and watch it later as a family.

I do wish that Playhouse Disney was on a little bit longer in the mornings.

With that said, I too wish they would start a "Classic Disney Channel" That would be so much fun to watch!!!!!

But that's how it always is. When our kids are older they will talk about the shows that their kids are watching is junk and how they wish Hannah Montana and all these other shows that we think are stupid was still around!

Same goes for music.
