Well we are in the last week of July already!!! And to top it off August is the last month of Summer!!! Hard to believe how time flies!!! So this week I decided to get with the swing of things!! Annalyzed how I was doing things and made a few minor changes. Like time to be careful about points again!! Get back to the excercising but not everyday so as not to burn out!! So Right after this I am WATP probably 4 mile then I am good for the day!!! Well After a wopping 1 lb. gain last week and a suspected visit from the bloat fairy:rolleyes: I hoped on the scale this AM and hoped off and hoped on and offf and on an off. Well it looks official I had another fairy visit!!! The WOOSH fairy visited me!!! I lost 4 lbs!!!!!! Not sure how but I do not question!!! SO this puts me at 245!! And My 25 lb clippie!!!!!!! Well I had decided to get a new DVD when I hit 25lbs but decided last night to not get one!! We just got the 4 sims expansion packs we did not have in the last week so I think that is ample reward!!! Lets just hope that the WOOSH stays off this week!!!! So I am off to drink many gallons of water and walk 4 miles!!! ANyone coming with me???

So how was the week??????

Woo hoo! At the top again!

I'm down 1.8 pounds this week, and feelin' fine! I stuck with the program really well last week, but this week, not so much! But it's okay, because I'm supposed to be maintaining anyway! :)

Lots of luck and encouragement to everyone this week.

Way to go Holly!!!!!!!! 4 pounds is tremendous!

Well, I'm at the end of my first full week on Atkins, and I've lost just a bit over 5 pounds!! Not a lot, but at least I've seen some movement....

I haven't been in the exercise mode yet, but today I've begun a few exercises in the house. Leg exercises at the computer, toe touches and arm stretches and neck exercises too. I'll have to start my outdoor exercise either before the sun comes up or after it goes down, because it's just too HOT here during the day.

So I'm feeling pretty good, and I've updated my clippie- and all's right with the world! :teeth:

I started on Atkins 6 days ago and have lost 6 lbs already. I think if I have to look at one more piece of meat I'm going to drop over dead! :p

Being more vegetarian-minded (I eat some meat, but LOVE my fruits and vegis!) it's a tough diet to maintain, but I've seen such excellent results from it that I decided to give it a try. So far, it seems to actually work and it fits well with my desire not to eat (I fill up so fast on meat that I'm not hungry most of the day, which suits me just fine).

Nice to 'see' you again, Jiminy....I remember you from the 'old days' on the Inspiration Board's diet forum! :)

Well I am happy to report that I stayed the same this week! Why am I happy? Well I had comapny for most of the week so I only worked out three times this week, and on Friday we went to the state fair, anyone who ever attends these events know that the food is just to hard to resist! So after the Indian tacos, funnel cakes, and carmel apples I was pretty pleased to not gain any weight. But reality has set in and I am determined to be very good this week, stick to the WW's plan, drink my water and work out. Knowing I need to check in with all the "Wishers" out there will keep me motivated. Great job to all that lost weight!

Hi my wish friends. It's so great to see all the new names appearing here every week. You guys are off to a great start. And Jiminy 4 lbs!!!!!!!!! WOW that's a whoosh for sure. Dan look at you i hope when i get ready to maintain my weight you have master it so you can help me out.

As for me this has been a very successful week. I have been loosing very, very slowly since my 50lbs mark it's taken sometime a 1 to 1.5 lbs a week to really seem like i'm getting somewhere. Thank goodness for my pm buddy (tara) she keeps me going when weight in's are not so hot. I was happy this morning to report to her and here too. I lost a whopping 3.5 lbs this past week which is just unheard of the last 3 months for me anyways. I sure do miss those 2 and 2.50 lb weight in's. So to say i'm thrilled this week with weight in was an understatment. This puts me in a great position to get a new clippee next week. And only 7.25 lbs from my labor day goal! I really did'nt do anything different this past week except i started taking a vitamin and i had Lucky Charms ceral for breakfast several mornings and an egg one morning. (story behind that was i needed more calcuim and protein in my diet) I hate to eat breakfast but i'm having to make myself. Anyways I'm at 166.25 today and on my way to GOAL. Just a tick over 30 lbs to go!!!!!!! If i decide to go that low. So somewhere between 20-30 more lbs for me!! I'm thrilled to be wearing nice clothes and feeling good about my look for the first time in years again. I no longer dread getting dressed for work and trying to decide what shirt covers my fat rolls the best. I still have fat no doubt there but now it's not as noticable and i don't have to deguise myself with clothes i can enhance my look with them. I am really excited inching closer to my 159 Labor Day goal. Then it's on to my last goal from there. I celebrate my 6th month of eating right and moving more on the 29th of this month and i never thought i'd be able to accomplish what i have so far. So the way i see it everything from 169 under is gravy!!!! I have time and will be patience with my 1 lb loss's from here on out. (Tara remind me i said that.) Thanks to all my wish buddy's who are helping me it really means so much.

Hiya Everyone ~

Can't believe that it is another week down. I have decided that I am only going to weigh myself every two weeks. I tend to get very manic if I way myself everyday so that is the decision I have come to.

My clothes feel very loose on me and I know I have lost inches. Didn't make it to the gym last week and due to work committments I probably won't make it next week either but hey I'm eating well and not stuffing my face with naughty things so I am least doing one thing right.

Hope everyone has a good week.

:( Had my physical on Friday. Was hoping that my at-home scale was wrong....it isn't. But, my doctor gave me the name of a book she is suggesting for folks like me that don't have a huge amount to lose. It's "Strong Women Stay Slim" by Merriam Nelson. Hopefully by this time next week I can report more positively. No! I'm positive I will! I'll be positive right now.

Wow! Everyone is doing so great! I am super happy to report that I lost a pound this week which puts me back in the teens again (hopefully I will never be above them again!) at 219.0

Then, the best thing of all is when I was greeting at church this morning one of the ladies was like you have lost so much weight, you look wonderful! Boy that just made my day. :teeth:

Congratulations to all the losers, way to go to those who maintained and to those who gained, let's kick some butt this week!

Congratulations everyone! I'm happy to report a 1 pound loss this week for a total of 46 pounds. I've had lots of compliments over the past few months, but this week a co-worker said I look ten years younger. That was really nice to hear.:D I hope everyone has a fantastic week ahead of them!

I usually weigh in on Tuesdays but since I just read that they will be doing board maintenance the next 2 days and it might be really slow to get on the DIS or you might not be able to get on at all I am going to do my official weigh in today! The past week has had its ups and down for me. It seemed that I was looking to eat more than usual. I don't think I was really hungry but I was just looking to eat(thank God for sf jello). Well, I am very happy to say that I lost another 1 1/2 lbs and another 4inches for a grand total loss of 30lbs and 23inches! Thanks for all the support I have gotten here. Reading the WISH boards is what gets me through the week and keeps me motivated! Congratulations to everyone that lost, maintained or just came back for a fresh start!

trying hard to get back on track
Was on vacation July 18-24 - thought I did ok except for those zimas. However, I finished entering my food into fitday yesterday and was quite surprised to see those results - too much sodium, too many calories! uhoh my new clothes are fitting snuggly
Well today is a new day. Have doc apt Aug 12th so Im hoping to have everything back under control by then.
Keep up the good work everyone

Just got back from the beach and I was so afraid to get on the scales.... but another 3 pounds bit the dust!!!! Woo Hoo!! I guess all that walking and wave jumping did the trick!! :p Now I can pick up that 15 pound clippie! Yipeee!

We are happy dancing in SC :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Good luck this week to all!!!

Good work and congratulations to everybody!

I had a great week - lost another pound, which puts me at 7 pounds lost - just 11 more to go. How cool is that?

I'm exercising almost every day - while I'm sure it's helping with my weight loss, I've noticed it's making a major difference in my attitude, too. I feel awesome!

Hope everyone else is having a super week!

Daisy;)

I lost 6.5 pounds this week.

Morning all! Thrilled to report two pounds down! And I went to a wedding this past Saturday - was really happy how I ate there, despite the awesome buffet and dessert table.

I am just blown away by all you guys who are dropping 5 and 6 lbs. a week! I wish I could do the Atkins, but I know I'd never make it, so I'm sticking with my WW! But you people are doing fantastic!

Still finding it hard to get the exercise in, but I am doing the water!!!!!

I am off on vacation starting next Saturday - so I am determined to do well this week to set the pace. It actually is a good "diet" vacation, as we stay at a cabin, grill out, and hike!

Wow!!! You guys rock!!! My week was pretty good--My bday was Sat, so I made Beachgirl's Cheesecake for me and DH. DD and DS had brownies...the cheesecake was wonderful, and I didn't feel like I was missing out!
So, hopped on scale this am and lost a pound--and another 1 1/4"! I am 3 pounds from my mini goal I set with the 20 lb. losers thread--we are pushing for our 25 lb. clippie by Aug. 4th.(OMG-next monday!) well, I have to "kick it"....I am getting a new digital scale today, so maybe good, maybe bad!!
Have a great week everybody!!!
:p

Sorry to miss last week's weigh in but DH & I took advantage of both kids being off to various camps and took off ourselves for a few days.

The results from the past two weeks....a DRUM ROLL PLEASE! Lost 4 pounds!

:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

As katholyn would say that is a great accomplishment and requires much bouncing! :p

But "weight" there is more.

That loss brings me OFFICIALLY to having lost 100 pounds!

Yes sir and ma'am - from my heaviest all time weight of (and this is the first time I've actually disclosed the number here) 250 pounds I have lost 100 pounds - bringing me to 150.

That is 8 pounds within the "normal" range for my height according to the BMI charts, at the goal I set last January when I met with my doctor, a dietician, and began this leg of the journey, and with only 15 pounds left to go until I reach the "ideal" for my height and build.

Since joining WISH I've taken off 15 of those pounds. As those of you who have lost a great deal know those "early" pounds are easy - ok, RELATIVELy easy to those later ones. They are coming off slowly but they are coming off. I have no doubt now that I will make the ideal.

So Kath and all that is good for LOTS of bouncing and here they come! (Or they would have except I kept getting this administrator message that I was using too many images!)
