Well the Whoosh fairy visited and washed away 5 pounds. I'm not going to make onederland by Christmas, but am going to join the spring group. Everyone have a great week, and try not to go crazy with all the holiday activiities.

After an exciting weekend of a formal wedding and a Christmas party, I was able to lose 1/2 pound last week. That's not much, but I'm the slow loser after all. Slow and steady.

I feel I'm in control and no longer binge. Overall, I feel great!

:)

May I join you in the 1/2 pound happy dance?:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

The pirates must have kept me in the blockade last week- I didn't weigh in! UGH! My first week to miss!! I won't let it happen again! We travelled last week for interviews for my dh, you know what travelling means- poor food choices- atleast for me anyways! So this week I am up 2 pounds to 184- I vow to get to the 170's this month so I better get cracking! If I can just AVOID Christmas cookies/brownies/and parties I'll be fine! I think we just went to our last one on Saturday- so maybe I'm clear for a couple of weeks.

Keep on going ONWARDS & DOWNWARDS everyone!!!

Tara

Hi everyone! I'm so happy to share that I have 3 pounds gone this week. That adds up to 45 pounds total, which means... time for the clippie dance! :cool1: Only 5 pounds to my (new) New Year's goal and a platinum clippie (!!!), and 12 pounds to my next 10% goal. Woo-hoo!

Exercise is still going great, 120 days in a row. I've been slowing upping the amount of jogging I've been doing in the morning (instead of walking), and for the past week or so, I've been jogging the entire way (~2.3 miles?). Go me! It has definitely helped the weight fly off as well. :teeth:

Healthy eating has been more challenging these days for sure, with all the holiday parties everywhere I go. It was nearly impossible to walk away from the cookie table at a luncheon last week - I had a few, but I wanted MORE!! Somehow I managed to distract myself. I find that I'm thinking about buffet meals in a different way, though - automatically looking for more vegetables and healthy proteins rather than carb-laden stuff, trying to make a balanced plate at every meal. I just need to remember to bring a veggie platter next time!

The most exciting thing right now is that I'm a genuine size 24 again. I can shop in all the plus-size stores again, yippee! I know that sounds weird, since most people would be shocked to reach 24, but once I reached 26 a while back, most plus-sized stores became useless to me. Not anymore! I spent all weekend in size 24 non-stretch jeans and a 3x shirt I haven't worn in a year. I love it!

Congrats to everyone so far. There are some fabulous new clippies out there !!! WTG everyone :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

I've been sick over the past few days, so I am not weighing in. I got on the scales the other morning, and even though it had me down enough to get my next clippie, I am not taking it 'cause I don't know what the scale will do once I am back to eating normally again. My goal is maintenance this month, what with all of the holiday festivities. But it sure would be nice to get that 35 pound clippie before the end of the year ;)

Great job, everyone ! Keep up the fabulous work.

A little too much eating on the run and indulging in the holiday goodies here, I am up 1.4 pounds this week. But life is good and I am still working on moving onward and downward!

Hi all! Just home from MIL's and WDW. Had a wonderful time! I gained only one pound! I did eat off plan but I tried to be sensible and all that walking must have paid off. I am ready to get back on track and make it through christmas a loser!:D

My news for this week is that I stayed the same - I wish I had lost - but there you go! I was trying to add more carbs in the form of veg to my diet - I also - for the first time - added the wonderful treat of jelly & cream twice in the past week. I have been finding induction rules very diffficult to stick to - I have been on induction for the past nine weeks now & was beginning to find it frustrating!! New week starts here - so onward & downwards!!

Good to see a few new clippies out there - well done! Those who maintained or gained - thanks for checking in we do need to know we are not alone!

I lost 2lbs!!!! I lose weight really slowly so to lose 2lbs in one week is a really big thing for me!

so anyway I wanted to be at 140 for christmas and i'm now at 140.5!!! So i'm doing good.

Geesh! I totally forgot to check in. We've been really sick here at my house. I got strep throat and a bad cough. I am on antibiotics and a VERY strong cough medicine so I think I am on the mend. The only thing is that I only felt like eating peanut butter toast, oatmeal and hot choc., everything I shouldn't be having. I don't think it messed me up though, because my calorie intake was less. I'm not going to weigh myself until my official WI day on Saturday. So I'll report this at this Sunday's check in how I did.

Jiminy......good job. I wish I were that close to 20. Keep up the good work.

Tara.......that's tough, all of that travelling. It can be good and bad, can't it?? You'll do fine, though. You've had a long winning streak so I know you are up for the challenge.

I'm a few days late checking in this week. I think that's because I didn't want to admit to myself that I haven't lost any weight this past week. Of course, I might do a little better by sticking to my plan! All I can say is that I'm determined to do better this week! At least I'm keeping up with my exercise routine, and that's a really good thing! :sunny:
Congrats to all of this weeks losers! :teeth:

WOO-HOO to all the new clippie holders!!!!!!! Congratulations - earning a new clipipe is a wonderful feeling, and I see LOTS of really high number clippies popping up all over the place!

Well, this week I am down one pound from last week, which is really weird considering I haven't really done much in the way of point counting and I really went off plan last weekend at WDW! ;) But I'll take it! :)

Ok, I'm back! I haven't had a weigh-in at WW since the week before Thanksgiving, and then was gone on our land/sea adventure! So, I'm happy to report that since my last weigh-in, I have only gained .6 lbs! ;) However, I know that I truly gained about 5 lbs during my trip! Oh well, it's going back away, and I won't see it again!

Let's keep up the good work during the holidays!! ::yes::

Maintain for me this week, which is good what with holiday parties and just more socializing in general. HOWEVER, I'm only one pound away from my 25 lb clippie (one day I was only .5 away!). I'm gonna be there next week...as a Christmas present to myself!

Onwards and downwards everyone!
