The last full week of 2003. I can't believe it's gone already!

I had no official weigh-in this week, because my weigh-in day happens to fall on Thursdays, and obviously, Weight Watchers wasn't open on Thursday! :)

However I did step on my scale at home, and gained 7 pounds! :scared1: :earseek:

I'm back to doing losing points to get some of (not quite all, I was a little too low going into the holidays for this exact reason) this off.

How'd everyone else do?

I was so happy I maintained this past week. I didn't want to lose my new clippie.

I'm off this week from work and will try to get in more exercise than usual. I'm only four pounds away from ONDERland and plan to be there some time in January.

I only gained .5 and I'm very pleased with that considering I had a lapse in willpower and ate extra cake. Thanks to all who helped me rid of the cake. If not I probably would have gained more.

Have a great week and Happy New Year to all my fellow WISHers!!

::yes:: joats

I haven't weighed in or checked in for a while. I'm starting fresh at 131 this week. I'll make it a point to check in every week from now on! Gee, sounds like a resolution! :p

I haven't weighed in for a few weeks now because I have been staying the same. Well, I lost .5lb this week. It's not much but when I haven't been seeing the scale move at all, it's fine with me. Congratulations to evryone that is checking in this week.

I forgot to weigh in last week. :o I lost 1.8 lbs last week and .4 this week. I stayed on plan all during the holidays, including 2 dinner parties that I hosted. One night I served quiche, green beans and salad. I did serve ice cream for desert, but didn't have any myself. I had a few spiced pecans that I sweetened with Splenda. The next night I served grilled greek chicken, salad, deviled eggs, green beans and rolls which I did not eat. It felt great to not focus so much on food this year.

I did have some of Chelsea's sugar free candy on Christmas. It always stalls me, and it's hard to eat just one, so I normally don't eat any.

I was very happy to have any loss this last week. I managed to stay in ONEderland and now I can work toward my 50 lb clippie. :)

I have gone GOLD!!! I can't beleive it!! :Pinkbounc
What a happy way to end 2003! Last week I didn't check in but I had lost 4.2 lbs which made me eligible for my gold clippie however DH and I planned to take a break from the diet during all of the holiday gatherings we had last week. I didn't want to get a new clippie then have to give it back the next week so I decided to see how this week went. I gained back 5.2 :scared: pounds as of Friday morning and was hoping to lose at least 2 lbs of that by today. Well I went right back on plan Friday, drinking my water, and watching my calories. Today I am very excited to report that I ended up maintaining! :Pinkbounc This morning when I weighed in I was shocked to see the exact same numbers as last week which made me eligible for the GOLD! So my fellow WISHers if you've gone a little astray during the holidays and see a gain - DON'T despair. Get right back on plan and those pounds will melt away.

I maintained! I am VERY excited about that considering the holiday & this week has been PMS week. Since the bloat fairy usually visits this week , I should be able to report a loss next week. Here's hoping!:bounce:

I'm recommitting myself this week, so I have nothing to really report. I am 7.8 lbs lighter than when I started WW on 10/21. But, I never really followed plan. I think its just been that I've been too busy to eat. So, now I'm starting with exercise and healthy eating.

Good luck to everyone this week!

Let's see... I went to the world for 5 days where a bunch of DIS'ers forced me to eat and drink :)
I went home for 4 days
I went on the disney cruise and then 2 more days in the parks and got home the day before Christmas Eve
I need to watch out for people with harpoons

I'd like to join the WISH challenge if I may? I need some support as I start this long journey to health!! I have joined the gym and have decided to follow Dr. Phil's healthy eating programme. I'll check in with you guys often! Happy New Year to everyone princess:

Confession time...

It's been a food-laden month or so for me. I haven't been to a WW meeting since mid-November! Very dangerous... but I haven't been in town for most of my Saturday morning meetings. And the couple I was in town for followed late Friday night parties!

My unofficial home scale tells me I've maintained. (Miraculously!)

But my New Year's resolution is to get back on program, back to regular meetings, and back to checking in regularly with the WISH team.

WISH has been my strength and my most powerful secret weapon for the past year. I'm ready to start another successful year hanging out with the best group of LOSERS anywhere!::yes::

(Welcome to the Loser's Club, Alyson!!)

I'm happy to report that I am a loser this week! The scale is down 2.5 pounds today, yea me! That brings my total to 19 pounds lost since December 1st. I would like to keep losing 2.5 pounds per week which would put me in onederland by July 1st. I'll settle for reaching my first goal of losing 10% of my body weight by February 1st though. Hopefully, I'll get that shiny new 20 pound clippie next week.

Welcome Alyson, I posted to your journal this evening.

No weigh in for me this week. I basically just said I'm eating what I want for 1 week so tomorrow morning I'm back on plan and back to Curves. I won't step on a scale until saturday morning..hopefully it will not be bad news...I want to drop a pound so I can get my next clippie!

I'm up 1.5 lbs this week:( Stress and a lot of other things led to some bad choices and I freely admit I pigged out on turkey too much.

Still I'm at my 10% weight gone from when I started this journey back in September. I'm in a lot better shape then I was at this time last year.

Today's a new day, a new WW week for me, and Thursday will be a brand new year. I'm comitted to staying on this journey, making smarter choices, and most of all getting more active!

Congrats to the losers! To those who gained or maintained - good job in posting and staying committed.

Let's make it a good week!

Two more pounds gooooone!!!

On New Year's Eve I'm doing the same thing I did for Christmas... eat what I want :D:teeth:

5 Pound clippie, see ya next week!!

Well I did not manage to keep off that 2.5 loss from Christmas morning that I posted about. I did manage to keep .5lb off this week. Oh well I'll take it. Back to plan this morning. ::yes::

Hi, I'm back from Disney and had a blast. I maintained which is great considering that I didn't stick to an eating plan at all. But I was really active and tried the surrey bike for the first time.

Now I'm back to my "Firm" tapes and eating plan. Got my next Disney Trip in May with the in-laws to think about!

Congrats to everyone checking in!

Well it looks like I am up 6 lbs!!! I know I was not good but did not think I was THAT bad!!!!! Oh well I figured I would start counting points after the new year but decided today was a good day!!!! Off to a great start!!!

I am thrilled to report that over the past 2 weeks, I have only gained one pound. Hopefully my body isn't going to play tricks on me and go a little extra heavy on the scales next time ;) I did go to Curves all 4 days they were open last week, and I'm totally going to ignore the printout from Saturday's weigh/measure day that showed a gain in inches :p Hello ... that girl really needs to learn that when the one from the month before pulls really tight on the tape measure, she should just make all of this months numbers match -- no gain, no loss  I refuse to let that get to me ... although my DH did ask me why I went straight for the bread when I got back from Curves that day !

Thanks to all of my WISH friends that have helped me over the past 9 months that I've been here. I couldn't have made this journey without you. You are all inspirations to me and for that, I am very grateful :grouphug:

Onwards and downwards ...

Mary Liz
