WISH Check In Thread: Week of December 21, 2003

I disagree!!! CLAIM THAT CLIPPIE!!! You have lost 50 pounds!!! This week won't change that...I demand to see that new clippie! :)
Now as for me I have hit an all-time low!!! YEAH!!! I am down 2 more pounds this week (even with swollen boobies and all with TOM approaching) to (drum roll rat-at-tat) the ONE HUNDRED SEVENTIES!!!!! I am loving it at 178 this morning- I betcha by next week even with Christmas around the corner that I'll grab that 60 pound clippie- it's certainly going to keep me good!
I've been low low carbing it for 6 days and have dropped about 6 pounds in those days! So I'm gonna stick to it and maybe have a little of the good carbs on Christmas- just trying to avoid the sugary stuff.

ONWARDS & DOWNWARDS gang!! :)

Tara

I'm with Tara, mowsie dreamer!!! Claim that clippie NOW!!!

I've been maintaining (read stalling) for some time now. I will be glad to do that for the next 2 weeks. ;) I didn't make my mini goal, but I will. Just not now. :hyper:

I've been lurking, but wish you all a Merry Christmas. Take care!

Hello,

Just found the WISHES sight last week. I don't know how I did it but this morning I was down a pound. It's TOM and I've been bad. Though I have to agree with Joshmom5, I say I've been bad 4-5 cookies but last year it would have been 20+ cookies. Tomorrow all the cookies leave the house to go to the Holiday parties and that will be the end of cookies until next Xmas. I think it helps that even though I've splurged on cookies I've been eating sensible meals.

Hopefully I'll report back in a couple of weeks with more loss. I'm heading to WDW in a few days so probably won't be able to check in next week.

Pam

Put on your shades  because I've gone PLATINUM!!

I don't have much time to post this morning (heading off to the airport!), but I just had to check in with my 5 pound loss for the week - which adds up to 52 total pounds on WISH! Yippee! I guess my extra running this week worked after all, and I tried really hard at three separate buffet holiday meals to eat reasonably. Then again, maybe eating a little extra this week kicked my metabolism up a notch. In any case, woohoo!

I'm so happy to have made my New Years goal before my vacation - now all I have to do is maintain for a week. Not as easy as it might sound, but I'm going to give it my best shot.

Have a wonderful Christmas, one and all!

happy to report that I maintained this week even with going to the World for the opening of Pop Century. We tried lots of new foods.

Congrats to all these new clippies!!

First I want to apologize for not checking in last week. My computer is on it's way out so it takes FOREVER to do anything & I don't want to buy a new one until after our move this coming spring. I'm going to try to just put up with this one until then.

I've been a bit too high on the carbs the past 2 weeks so I haven't lost any more weight. I have been keeping up with my exercise program though, so I haven't gained any either. As of yesterday I am back on track with the carbs. I plan to have a one day cheat for Christmas with a little bit of potato & stuffing - and I DO mean little bit, but other than that I realized that I feel so much better without the extra carbs so I really don't want them.

Mowsie, i completely agree with the other posters who said you should claim that clippie! You've been doing a great job so wear that clippie proudly! Besides, I find that knowing I might have to give up a new clippie if I cheat really motivates me to stay on plan! :teeth:

Well I almost fell over when I got on the scale this morning..I though I would have a gain..but I lost. I now have less then 1 pound to go before I claim my 45 pound clippie! (.8 to be exact!)

I'm not too sure how I'll do over the next few days...I'm going to up my water intake and really try hard not to eat too much junk.

I lost 5lbs this week, so I was able to claim a new clippie :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc What excites me more than anything is that I've been able to get right back OP after spending over 2 weeks at WDW. This is something that I have never been able to do before. So a great big thank you to all of you who have helped to motivate and inspire me ::yes::

Hi all! I was hoping just to maintain this week since I had just got back from vacation and I had the first of many holiday parties ... and especially since I was weighing-in a day early. To my surprise, I've lost 1.4 lbs! :teeth: I'm getting closer to my personal goal and to a 25 lb clippie! Hopefully, I'll be able to get that in the new year!

Happy holidays everyone :)

Hi everyone:wave:

Hope everyone has a great Christmas:hyper:

Yes, I did WI the day after Christmas and I was so close to skipping this week. I am up 2#'s from last week but did enjoy my eatings. I am counting my points today and then exercise will begin up on a big start on Monday. Keep up the great work everyone and remember we can all get back on track after our indulges that we had.:D We can do it all together.:sunny:

I'm up one pound from my check-in a week ago yesterday. It was a challenging week and I'm very happy (lucky?) with the results as there was some sugar consumption going on! I have this next week off, so I'll be upping the activity levels and keeping a close eye on the water. I have a hard time getting in all my water on non-work days....at my desk I can sip, sip, sip all day long...at home I have to remember to stop and slam down a glass!

Onwards and Downwards everyone!
