I’ve looking online and haven’t found anything, but has anyone seen any pictures or videos of the 1 bedrooms on the Wish?
You know I always wondered about that tower suite and similar super high end rooms. They seem incredible to normal people or people who can afford the more “normal” concierge suites, but to anyone who can really afford them, they cant be all that impressive. They must live like that or better all the time. So why not make those super high end suites go to maybe a random family of the day, then they get that room for their cruise no up charge? Just seems like they wouldn't necessarily fill these rooms all too often.…after the newness of the ship wears off anyway.Nope. for some reason everyone wants to look at the ridiculous tower suite rooms that are off limits to almost everyone rather then the rooms people might actually be able to afford.
Exactly. They are a tiny apartment on land with a nice chandelier. The rich people who stay in it would all live in mansions or large apartments. they arent going on the cruise because they are looking foward to the tower suite. They are still going to enjoy the amenties of the ship like the rest of us.You know I always wondered about that tower suite and similar super high end rooms. Thats probably it.I have a theory...
They kept the tower suite empty for this cruise for the single purpose of getting the bloggers to hype it.
The Disney big shot employees on the ship all got the concierge rooms to stay in, so no one can take pictures or video in those yet. (couldn't they have left just ONE open for the media??)
Everyone else got some kind of family verandah room, so there is a FLOOD of pictures and videos all of almost identical rooms.
That's my theory since there are so many pictures and videos of pretty much everything else on the ship. Hopefully there will be a lot of "normal" people in the one bedrooms for the MV so we finally get to see them!
I saw a theory online that the Disney execs on the cruise are staying in the suites and concierge rooms that haven’t been shown. I think that’s probably right.I personally think the suites with their own hot tub are nicer than the tower suite. I’m surprised pictures haven’t come out for every room category but they must not have left them empty for this cruise
That makes a lot of senseI saw a theory online that the Disney execs on the cruise are staying in the suites and concierge rooms that haven’t been shown. I think that’s probably right.
That makes sense but surely they could have left one empty for people to photograph!I saw a theory online that the Disney execs on the cruise are staying in the suites and concierge rooms that haven’t been shown. I think that’s probably right.
I *think* that the 1031s are the 1BD that have the extended verandahs, and the verandahs are included in the total square footage of the unit. The regular 1BD are listed as being considerably smaller. Apologies if I am misunderstanding your question!Wondering if the OP, like me, is suspicious that the 1BR suites have less square footage than the other ships. The stateroom floor plan that can be seen on deck plans looks to be a little smaller than the Dream class. It is possible to find that the classics have that stateroom listed as ~600 sq. ft. (Granted that does not account for the ”sideways“ 1BR staterooms.) The Dream class 1 BR is listed as 536 sq. ft.
We have stayed in the 1BR on the other ships and based on the deck plans and the floor plans they show, i cannot beleive the stated 1000+ sq. ft. that is listed. The living room area in particular looks smaller. Besides they are typically about twice the size of the family stateroom, which is listed as 253 sq. ft., so should be 506 Sq. ft., NOT the listed 1031.
They are sold out. If you look at nearly any cruise, the wish tower is not available and already sold. Same with the Aurora suite. You know I always wondered about that tower suite and similar super high end rooms. I wouldn’t be so sure they are all booked by paying guest as much as Disney may have it on hold to show off and for VIPs. Just my guess here. It would not surprise me if this is so. I do of course expect that some with money will go, but like i said, once the newness of it wears off, it’ll get much less use for paid customers. Most cruises I’ve been on (I’m platinum), the Walt and Roy Disney suites have been open on the day of voyage. They are sold out. If you look at nearly any cruise, the wish tower is not available and already sold. Same with the Aurora suite.
There are a lot of people in this country that can afford the room and will get it simply because they want the nicest room they can get, a splurge treat for themselves, or something similar.
The $25k was for the princess aurora suite so the wish tower suite is more! I mean it is technically four bedrooms right (I think there is a Murphy in the library. But if the 2 story royal suite is $25k how much is the tower suite?I love Moana, I really do but 25K just isn't realistic for an OCEANVIEW suite. There is no balcony for that price which seems like a massive oversight considering the price tag..
The only people I'm sure who actually think the funnel suite is awesome and would stay there could never afford it. It would be nice if they used it as a magical moment and upgraded people to the suite if its not full. (HA. I made myself laugh)
