We own 350 points at AKV and it is our very favorite DVC resort!

We have 3 trips planned for 2012. Rented out points to pay for a cruise in April 2012. We will do a week's stay in July. We will also spend Christmas and New Years 2012/2013 at Disney.

I own at Boadwalk Villas (have since 1999) (Love this resort but if DVC Grand Floridean is a go then that is where I will be buying more points )

I have a few trips planned: march 2012 going to Vero Beach, then Animal Kingdom lodge then Beach Club. October 2012 BWV for Food & Wine Fest. And already planning for 2013

We did the same thing for cruises in Dec 2011 (leave in a week) and March 2012 that is why we have to wait until Dec 2012 to go to WDW. Use year is Oct. Would like to go sooner but want to go for my B-Day and Christmas 1st week of Dec. But, only a month away until I can call to make home resort ressie. That is a start.

Dynaguy and I are out of here tomorrow afternoon for 8 nights at VWL! We are looking forward to the warm weather now that it is getting colder back here in WI.

We just returned from 8 days at SSR. Had a great time resort hopping for Christmas decorations. The Osborn light show at Studios was awesome. Parks were jammed as expected. We had warm weather and very cold and windy weather. We still had a great time. Looking forward to returning in 3 weeks to Vero Beach and SSR.

We won't be at Disney World for at least 1 1/2 years. Dd and I are going to Disneyland for spring break with the FHS band but that is not the same. My daughter really wanted a cruise for her graduation so I used 2011 & 2012 points for the cruise. We are taking the Fantasy spring break next year. We have 2 family verandah rooms for 1200 points. It would have cost us 11,000 for the trip so I found the exchange worth it. The only problem is we now have to wait a year.

I feel your pain. We went January 2011 and decided to do 2 cruises (Dec 11 and March 12) So when we go in Dec 2012 it will be almost 2 years and I have been feeling the withdrawl for awhile. Cruising is fun but not the same as visiting the World.

Thought I'd bump us up to the first page. It has been awhile.

So a little bit about our upcoming adventure in Dec. Had planed to be a 2 family get away but other family had to back out and husband decided he wanted to hunt in Aregentina. I am usually the vacation planner and get to go where I want to I broke down and am letting him go under of condition I still get to go to Disney. That was agreed on and because the Kids need a break from vacationing(per me because they have come to expect and not appreciate) my best friend and I decided to go over my birthday in Decemebr as previously planned.

Well my BF and I are always looking for crazy things to do, one year was indoor ski diving and parasailing, one year we hit all 4 parks and a ride a each before getting on a plane for home(all in 1 day) by 3pm, done Discovery Cove.

SO WHAT IS THE NEXT THING:

HOW about 2 parks in one day. Now you say that is no big deal, well, what if the parks are on different coasts.

Yes that is right we are flying to DisneyWorld for 5 days and spending the morning of day 6 at EMH MK then flying out to Disneyland to close that park.

Crazy I know but it is going to be a lot of fun.

Anyone ever think or do this?

Tink'smom2b = Me, DH, DD(12), DD(9) + 6 grown kids and 5 grandkids. Owners of BCV and VWL, next trip in October we're staying in FW in our little Airstream affectionately named "Bunny"

Only the two youngest come on vacation now. But someday I'm hoping to get everyone together for a Grand Gathering
