Wireless Internet at The Disneyland Hotel?

I have booked us to stay at DLH from May 30-June 6.

I thought that they had wireless internet, so that my kids and I could use the iPads in the evenings when we return to the hotel. However, in reading about DLH on AllEars.net, it says something about free wireless available in the LOBBY and broadband that needs a cable in the rooms. Is this correct, or has it been changed with the remodel? If so, we won't be able to relax in our room at night and use our iPads?

Stayed at the DLH with my wife and daughter last month. Thought that I would be able to use my iPhone to stream Netflix etc. after they went to sleep in order not to disturb them. Not only was the signal in the room too weak to stream video, it was too weak to hold streaming radio.

The wifi signal was marginally better in the lobby, but it still took over an hour to download an audio book that would have taken less than ten minutes at home.

I have read somewhere that you are paying a mandatory $15 resort fee for free parking, free internet/wifi and fitness room access. Can anyone who has stayed recently confirm this please.

When we stayed at DLH last summer my iphone didn't work in the room at all. I got no signal. It drove us nuts because we couldn't make or take any calls with our cells in the room. I had to go downstairs and either stand near the doors to the outside or walk outside to make calls. We were in the Wonder/Frontier Tower. We stayed in the Magic/Fantasy tower before the rooms were refurbished and didn't have any trouble with cell service that trip.

We stayed in the Adventure Tower in February and found the in-room wi fi to be perfectly acceptable for general web browsing, e-mail and updating our family blog on my iPad and iPhone.

I can deconfirm. The resort fee has been gone for over a year, everything is included and now if you need parking that is a special fee, $15.

I recently stayed in the Frontierland tower and though the info they give you said that only wired internet was available, I was easily able to connect to the WiFi and it was fine.
