Well, I went out today to get some photos of things in my backyard. Not much going on there these days as just about everything is covered in snow. To me, this is the MOST boring time of year to live up north. I thought I would not get much for photos, but I surprised myself a little. Sure, nothing is fantastic by any means and I'm sure that someone will be roasting me in their minds about my lack of professional photos, but what the heck, right?
My results are below. Please feel free to comment whether bad or good. I really need to start getting the hang of this stuff.
Thanks!
My first photo. I tried this to get the difference in dark wood chips and white snow.
Footprints in the snow. A take off of footprints in the sand (just not quite as dramatic):
My DD's sled filled with ice:
One lonely blade of seeded grass (or flower):
A pepper that we never harvested:
Peering out the window (taken for fun, not for artistic value):
Melting snow. My favorite thing to watch
