Hi guys

For a change, we thought we'd try and get in a round of mini-golf at Winter Summerland when we visit WDW at Easter. We are stopping at the Pop Century. Two questions:

1) Is it possible (or have I imagined it) to walk from the Pop to Blizzard Beach/Winter Summerland?

2) Do you need to book for mini-golf or just turn up? (I am particularly conscious that it might be busy because of Easter.)

Any help gratefully received.

1) I'm pretty sure you must have dreamt this! ;) All Stars resorts are quite close to W/S Golf, but I don't know if there are any sidewalks to walk safely between the two, but Pop is quite a distance away.

2) You don't need to book as, when you arrive, you are given a tee time. I don't know whether it is possible to book - interesting question! If it's quiet, your tee time will be more or less straight away but, when it's busy, you may have to wait a little while. I think we waited about 20 minutes once, but have walked straight on every other time.

Hi Hilary

Thanks very much for this. I guess I must have been getting mixed up with All Stars as we have stayed there too. We will probably just turn up then - waiting isn't so bad in that lovely Florida sunshine after all :sunny:

You definately couldn't walk from All-Stars either to Winter Summerland as Hilary suggested there aren't any sidewalks at all to do this.

If you are staying at the Pop century you will be able to use the Disney transport to get to Blizzard beach and the Golf. Booking not normally required, depending on the time of day

Also if you have a hire car parking at Blizzard beach is free

We did Disney's mini golf last time and were very disppointed. Compared to the mini golf available on I Drive and 192 the disney offerings are pretty poor. We expected that disney would be the best one but not so. Also DIsney's is much more expensive than the others. Try out the others!!!

Thanks for this. Was reading this thread as we had planned to try out the Disney mini-golf next trip. But staying off site and after reading your review will probably just stick to the ones on I-Drive. ;)
