winter dream..is this only available via a travel agent? i got a quote from one that was good but truthffully want more info about options...like I am debating on staying at that marriot for the first and last days, was going to go to disney quest any way one of those days and don't want to spend of a park pass for those days...i am trying to compare if a straight DQ pas ( saw one for 21 plus tax) would be cheaper than the xtra park pass days....plus the room savings ( about 160 total I think) might really add up. but can't find any rates and feel like the agent is getting ticked at my myriad of questions! any help or knowlege of said prices would be appreciated like maybe the xtra saving would pay for WL for 5 days instead of POR for 7???? I think the quote was a little over 1300 for POR

Typically packages are not the way to go. You didn't mention your dates or how many nights you will be staying. If you are looking for a good value you should probrably book each item separately. You can read more about the Winter Dream Package on Mousesaver.com. It sounds like you may be able to get a good deal with this package. You can book it online through Disney World.com

If I were you I would make a list of both options, booking it separatley then booking it with the package. See where you can save money then go with whichever one fits your needs & budget.

that's why I wondered if it was only through agents. maybe it wasn't on yet but the only dream package on dis.com was not winter dream and was more expensive. The agent rate was better but i wondered if I did it myself if it would be cheaper yet( greedy I know). I also tried with the AP rate and without tax was only about 80 cheaper so I figure there would probably be close to that much tax.

I'm going to WDW 12/20-12/27 with my DH and DD. I initially had a room only reservation at the ASMu with a AAA discount (we were going to get 7 day park hopper tickets with separate Disney Quest tix) but cancelled that after I booked a Winter Dream Maker package online at the Wilderness Lodge. Believe it or not, there was only about a $500 difference for a much nicer resort that includes all the tickets we need.

The regular price of what we have now would have cost almost $2,000.00 more than what we're paying. I'd have to say that's a GREAT DEAL!!!
