ok am i the only one?? i am sooo tired of winter .. we have had all most no sun in days , and when it was out for a short visit i worked. hate the cold , can only move my furniture so much , i am ready for spring , well what i really mean is summer.. what are you doing to beat the blues .. thats free!

I've eaten a lot of Ho-Ho's recently.

I'm eating. Not necessarily free but I feel good for a few minutes.

I understand more than you know. I hate the long gray days! That's worse than the cold and the snow to me. Just day after day of gray. Especially after coming from CA.!

Yesterday I posted some winter pics I took of my back yard and it surprised me how many people thought it was so pretty and some even wished they lived where it snowed. Anyways it helped me to see it from different point of view. You know, to try and find the beauty in it.

Also, I am thinking ahead to summer. Everyday I get online and plan alittle of our summer vacation. It's free to plan and dream. I'm also planning a yard sale for spring. Good way to keep busy now (by cleaning), and earn some money later.

Sorry, I'm in the same boat as you are. Think sunny thoughts!

BTW, Huckster, it says you're in a "Michigan small town". Me too. Can I ask which small town your in? Just curious.

It is very strange here in Wisconsin. We had a lot of snow in Nov. and Dec., but it was so cold outside you couldn't do anything.

It has been unusually warm here this January. I even see some spots where the grass is growing. We have absolutely no snow. I took a walk last nite, which is almost unheard of. A lot of people keep saying, wait till Feb or March, we will get dumped with a lot of snow. Right now it is 40 degrees, with the sun shining. I actually put 2 loads of wash outside on the wash line. I just hope that jet stream stays way up in the artic circle where the weather man says it is.

Where I live, the weather has been so depressing. It was really warm last week, then this week we had rain and hurricane speed winds. All of the snow is gone, our backyard skating rink is ruined, and I haven't been sledding at all this year. My secret to enjoying winter is that I make it fun. We have sledding/skating parties in our backyard (when there is snow!!!) all the time. We put fires in the fireplace and watch movies. We have snowman building contests. I know its hard, but try to enjoy this weather!!!!

I'm tired of it too! I'm sick of it being cold and yucky! Of course I have SAD so that doesn't help matters much! I finally broke down and bought myself a light box to help elevate the chemicals in my brain that were low due to less sunshine! It actually helps a lot! I hated spending the 130 dollars but so far it has been a GREAT investment. I also have changed and now workout at the gym at night which seems to help.

I don't have any real help to offer but I know how you feel. It's gray and snowy here today and really cold. I need to go to Costco but don't want to go because it's so cold and windy.

Hopefully spring/summer will come earlier this year for all of us suffering!
