Winning a Disney Trip.

What happens if you are a family of more than 4? Can you pay for the other one, two, three or however many children you have that are actually part of your household living with you under the age of 18?

A diser won this afternoon. She started her own thread. She got multiple calls (from a NY company) today.

I wonder how many people are making hundreds of emails so they can enter hundreds of times?

I wondered about the multiple email thing, too. I have had two for years and I'll use them both but not willing to mess around with more. I figure if I win, it's meant to be. I hope it's meant to be. :goodvibes

Anyone know if the are using California time as the "day" cut-off or if they are using Eastern time? I entered for the first time at about 12:15 EST last night/this morning and want to put in my next entry now. If it is Pacific Time I could do that but if it's EST then maybe I'd endanger both entries. The contest in sponsored in Burbank California.

Then maybe they are using EST for the NY company? I read the rules but didn't see it specified about which midnight would be the cut-off.

It's the sweeps they announced on NYE that started January 1st.

Ah - thanks! I just got an email about that last night and forwarded it to DH to make sure he enters every day too.

I read that someone here on the DIS already won a trip through this current sweeps. They said she started her own thread... I can't find it. Anyone know what board it's on?

Good to see you here Sue :)
Hi Brent! :wave2:

Just a quick question: the prizes all say family of 4..we are only a family of 2? Could we bring friends? Does it matter? What if we only bring 2?
Thanks
You can take friends or whoever you want. I think there may be rules for taking children that aren't your own though.

If you have more than 4 in your family you just have to pay out of pocket for the others (plane tickets, park tickets). Disney works with you to decide what hotel room would be best for your family. I know one of the people who won OMDD was able to get two rooms at one of the Value hotels for his family of 6 instead of having to pay for a second deluxe room.

....boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy...I sure hope that my DH gets picked on January 8...that's his BIRTHDAY! :hyper:
