Winners and Losers at this years Food and Wine so far??

Headed to F&W in 3 weeks...anyone been yet? Not much is new...but is there any big "winner or loser" TIA!!

I went on the first day. Winners for me were Greece, India, Africa, Earth Eats, Ireland, and the Mimosa Bar in the Festival Center. It was the first day, so some things weren't as well organized as they will be going forward. Booths that I have visited in the past, or similar food items to past F&W, I did not repeat...so, those may be good but I just didn't frequent them.

Of the countries you did, what was your favorite/surprising dish?

Red Lentil stew in Africa was a favorite. Red Curry in India was a good surprise in the it was not overpowering as curry can sometimes be.

Oh my goodness! Just looked at menus from the stands. I would either go broke or gain about 50 pounds without guidance from a thread like this!
