Anyone else NOT in the wine loop? I have a severe "mold" allergy, and cannot drink wine, as does sister (family trait). I have a problem going to "nice resturants and your wine selection. .... ... then you say "we don't drink wine and you get the LOOK like your less than a patron of fine food. Might be dressed fine, Ordered correctly, Your appropriopriately answering and asking questions etc... . but the wine thing you become the island table. I used to explain the "mold" thing but have given up, they don't need my medical history. We can have cocktails, and do. just no beer, or wine.
Anyone else have this issue, feel out of the loop?, How are you handling the problem. Waiters? They snatch up your "wine" glasses like your going to break them, or your too cheap to buy it.
I used to like to try wines, always got a severe headache and sick, and then my allergist asked me are you drinking wine or beer and what happens, I told him, I don't drink alot I always seem to get sick? he said ALLERGY!!!! DAUH!!!!
Haven't had any in years.
Thanks for the vent. Mky

Seems that chardonnay and I get along far too nicely sometimes, especially on vacation, lol. Tends to eat up alot of the souvenier $$ -- oh well, the kids can live with one less Mickey t-shirt.
