Hi

We noticed there are more dates for this fall for a DVC event Wine Tasting at Wine Bar George. We are considering it but are looking to those who have done this DVC event for their opinion and review....anyone out there attended this event?

Thanks
Inga

We attended the free DVC event at Wine Bar George before the Member Cruise. Food and wine were excellent. We will go there sometime, but nothing on the schedule right now.

This one isn’t free, there is a cost ($45pp)

Well despite the lack of reviews (none -anywhere!) we booked this for Nov 27th! We’ll let you know how it is!

We were at at a DVC members tasting event at Reinion Station. FWIW, a couple of ladies were raving about their Wime Bar George event earlier in their stay.

Hi there, I’ve done it :-) I did the white wine one last month. Apparently George usually does them, but he didn’t for this particular one, and it showed. I was sitting with a lady who’d been to them all and she said when George doe it, it’s amazing. He has stories about etc wine, goes into great depth etc. The guy we had was his second in command, don’t get me wrong, he was lovely, but the whole thing felt rather rushed. It only took 45 minutes rather than the 90 advertised. Although we were welcome to stay, they started clearing up around us after an hour.
However, the food was really good (although as a single person sharing with 5 others who knew each other on the table, it was a bit awkward). The wine was delicious, apart from one - apparently they always throw a strange one in there.
I would do it again, in the hope of having George lead it.

Helpful! Thank you! Yes DH was hoping George would be there. I want to buy a few George wine glasses, hope they have them to sell!
