Hi all! DBF & I are leaving for Disney in 50 minutes! :hyper:

I'm interested in purchasing a few bottles of wine from the different countries in Epcot. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions? I like my wine with at least some sweetness. My favorite wines are Riesling & Moscato. I'm very interested in the Canadian Ice Wines & the Japanese Plum Wine. Has anyone tried these? Thanks!

They sell small bottles of the plum wine from Japan for $4 & it has a single plum it. It is the best deal I have found in the park.

They have a very good Moscato wine in Italy, it was with the wine flight. My aunt asked to try a taste of an unopened bottle one time in Italy & they accommodated her, I think it was a Merlot. I am sure if you ask for a taste they could let you before purchase.

France also has some wine, but I am not sure on taste.

Good luck & I hope you find a good wine. :)

After trying and loving Sancerre in Paris this spring, and even bringing back a couple bottles, I am looking forward to seeing if they have it at the France pavilion. It was sweet like the Moscato that you mentioned.

We love the wine bar in Italy. Great wine, great atmosphere, and great snacks.

I have to ditto the Italy suggestions, the Moscato is great! Also, there is a cart beside the crepe cart in France that has a great drink called Nuvo. It is actually sparkling wine mixed with vodka, but I had no idea there was vodka in it when I tasted it. It's sweet and delicious, but a bit expensive.

Inneskilin ice wine is the best. It isn't cheap but it is amazing, I have it at LeCellier and bought it. It's also a little harder to get depending on where you are so that is a must.

As for ceiling, Germany has a few good ones. Do a wine flight to try a few and purchase what you like, it's a lot of fun!

May I ask which Inneskillin ice wine you liked? The winery is actually fairly close to my house and I have been looking for a good ice wine since my friend told me about them recently and she couldn't remember the name of the kind she had tried lol. :-)

Thanks! I'm excited to try it :-)

I like my wines a little sweeter too. My two favorites from years past are the Honey Wine in Ireland and the Black Raspberry Rice Wine in South Korea. I'm probably going to buy a bottle of each next week!

If you like Rieslings try the Bella Rosa ( I think that's the name - it's a sparking red ). Yum!
