Wine on airplanes

This may be a silly question, but I don't know the answer, so maybe someone can help me out. I was thinking of taking a few bottles of wine to Disney with us. Can I carry those on in my bags? I know I carried on vodka when I came home from Russia, and that was post 9-11. I wasn't sure if there was a different policy for domestic flights.

I can't stand whine on airplanes, especially from the kid in back of me.
Yes, you can carry wine on the plane as long as you don't consume it on the flight!

Yes, you can - as long as it is unopened. Please wrap it carefully, though, since I've heard numerous breakage stories.

You might try asking your wine store if they have wine carriers, or a cardboard box with dividers on the inside. That'll be the safest way to carry it.
