Hi, do you do the Dining Plan during Wine & Food or is it more fun to just graze around the world. Just wondering. Thanks:)

I didn't do the DP in part because we were going to the F&WF for 2 1/2 days. We only at one sit down meal in Epcot during that time at it was not planned. The rest of the time we just snacked at the festival booths. Next time I am going to get the DxDP and use all of our snack credits at the festival. But we also don't plan on as much time in Epcot.

I don't do the dining plan anytime, but I especially won't do it during the festival.

Whether it works for anyone at that time would depend on how much that party is planning to eat regular meals at restaurants, so you'd have to decide how much grazing at the festival appeals to you. You can use snack credits to do so, by the way, so a lot of festival-goers purchase the quick service or deluxe plans with 2 snacks per night.

I do, I get the DDP,
You get 2 snacks per day additionally 3 meals per day.

Nearly every sample is a snack (not all), but ones that are not usually are a "meal". Going up to 5 different countries per day. 2 for an appitizer, and 3 to any country you use a meal at includes a main dish, a dessert and an drink. My DH, and DD6 share as well, so we might get 1 snack from some where and share a meal from another country. Meaning between say 2 adults you could offically try and share 10 different countries in 1 day. Children get the same plan as adults, unless listed otherwise.

If you get the deluxe for 3 nights, you could eat everywhere and then still stop by Captains Grill for dinner.

I skipped the dining plan before, but I easily spent 100$ a day just tasting say 4 -5 countries. Plus adding in Chef Mickey, or CRT every other day well over 200$ a day averaging. For us the DDP is 160$ per day (2 A and 1 C (6)). Plus you get fancy sodas, shakes, ect for drinks that are an added bonus.

We haven't done the DDP during the F&W Festival. We find that our "meals" at that time consist of several snack-size potions shared, and we rarely eat what Disney considers meals. Even our breakfasts are snack-size, a muffin or something, so that we can start grazing promptly at 11:00. If we used the DDP, we'd run out of snack credits, yet have an abundance of meal credits left over.

Guilty! We do the meal plan- just the regular with wine added. We will graze @ the world and do a late signature dining. Or we will be in a totally different park and use our food options there. We use all of our snack credits one day at the f&W but generally even with the food plan we spend an easy $100 bucks a day at food and wine. This year I will have tables in wonderland which will save us a boatload- discount on drinks- yea! We never eat like that at home so a trip to Disney- specifically food and wine is an indulgence to us. I figure we walk all that food off anyway!;)
I can't wait!

We use the DDP during F & W festival and it works for us. We "graze" on several days, and then one day we just use a CS for lunch and our snack credits are our dinner. We save that TS credit and combine it with another, so one night we do a Signature dinner.
It works for us
