Wine Country Trattoria

I don't have any pictures, but it is very kid friendly. They do have a children's menu.

Anyone have any pictures? How kid friendly is it?

WCT is fine for kids. VR (upstairs) is high end and not really a good choice for most kids. If you have a junior foodie or an adult only evening and some extra cash, consider VR for an excellent experience.

Great to sit outside if the weather is nice. A good (large) kid's pasta dish.

Good place to split an entree (if a couple) or have an appetizer (if solo with kid)....since kid won't finish his.....& a have a glass of wine if inclined.

One other nice feature....in the middle of DCA, so easy for a runner to pick up FPs at Screamin or Soarin' while waiting for food.

We just ate there last weekend. The wait was about 30 mins and I had a glass of the best wine ever! It was called Dr.Loosen. Yummy. My 12 DD ordered off the kids menu and it was plenty for her. Loved it! Sit outside if it warm enough.

The WC sits on a balcony above the major walkway and is a great place to sit and eat outside to watch the crowds (without them watching you eat), see the sites and relax. It is a cozy and nice place like people said without being stuffy. If you have kids, its also a good place to see the parades. With good food and good prices.

Like others said its very kid friendly, VR is the one that is less kid friendly, that one is upstairs.

BTW- If the weather is bad you can also sit inside.
