Wine Country Trattoria - Indoor Seating?

I'm looking at booking WCT for lunch as part of WOC dining package. We're coming end of August so lunch is also a good time to escape the heat. However, i read on one site that the restaurant is good for outdoor seating (usually a good thing but not mid day in August). Is there indoor seating too? Or is this a bad choice for lunch?

Maybe it's a matter of timing, but we've found the indoor seating to be pretty noisy. It might not be so bad if the restaurant isn't crowded. But all it takes is one or two boisterous or rowdy families to make it too noisy for us. Perhaps the tile doesn't absorb the noise as well? Anyway, we prefer the patio.

We ate inside a few months ago, which I didn't mind because it was a little cold. However, it was very noisy and we were right by the door in and out of the kitchen. It felt rushed and loud. If we eat there again, I would definitely wait for patio seating, which looked lovely.

I'll never sit inside again!! It was so noisy and echoey. I'll definitely wait for an outdoor table next time.

There are really no soft surfaces inside to speak of ... all tile and cement. It makes it very loud.

I concur with the others, though we have been inside before and found it ok. The real charm of WCT is sitting on the patio though, so being inside takes away some of the best parts of eating there.

My wife and I ate outside on the patio at Wine Country Trattoria - although most of the tables were in the shade at the time we were eating. This meant we were not affected by the sun too much.

Great food there though It's a wise choice, but it can be quite popular

Only sat inside once because it was pouring rain. I'll echo the others who say its noisy and busy, doors opening next to you as waitstaff head outside etc.

Sounds like otherwise it is much more pleasant than inside.

Sounds like otherwise it is much more pleasant than inside.

Some tables are shaded and some are not. It's been very pleasant every time we've eaten there, even when the temps were in the 90s.

There are some pergola things etc but mainly umbrellas are your shade so depends on angle of sun and where you sit etc.

Thanks for the replies. Will take the advice and try for a table outside, but under a shaded umbrella if possible.
