What exactly is the Wine Cellar located downstairs from Hook's Point restaurant at the Disneyland Hotel? Is it a bar, or is it strictly just a wine tasting room?:confused3

The Wine Cellar is more like a bar that definitely serves wine, but I don't remember if they have other alcoholic beverages (i.e. beer, mixed drinks). My guess is that they do, but I can't remember for sure. For food, you can order off the Hook's Pointe appetizer menu, but I don't know if you can order entrees. It is a small cozy space. Kids are allowed, although I only saw adults there the last time I stopped in. Here is the Hook's Pointe menu http://www.wdwinfo.com/disneyland/dining/menus-detail.cfm?Restaurant.ID=569 if you want to check out the appetizers. Others may be able to give more info, but I hope this helps a little.

We ate there one night for dinner with our two kids. It's a cozy little spot with an incredibly nice female CM behind the bar. They have a big cheese/veggie/fruit/bread appetizer selection out that is complimentary. We ordered kids meals from the restaurant upstairs for the DDs. DH and I split a salad and I had soup while he had crab cakes. I had an excellent Pinot Noir but can't remember who it was by (sorry!). The wine list was MUCH better than the list at the Lost Bar just outside. DH and I can't remember if they had beer or mixed drinks, but if they didn't, you could definitely get them from upstairs and bring them down.
