Wine/Beer tasting

The wine shop in the France pavilion (Les Vins de France, I think) in the World Showcase offers a pretty solid wine tasting experience (although a little pricey, the pours are reasonably sized). Definitely worth a detour.

Second Jiko for wine aficionados - they have one of the largest selections of South African wines outside of the country. Our waitress for dinner was extremely accommodating helping our table find a bottle that satisfied everyone - it took a couple tries but we all absolutely loved the wine we ended up with. If you don't want a full dinner, the Cape Town Wine Bar is attached to the restaurant. There's also a weekly wine tasting event on Wednesday afternoons at 3PM ($25, I think?)

Epcot Germany, France, Italy, each have a wine flight all year round.
Germany has a beer flight.

During food and wine there are a lot more choices.

As it has been mentioned, Jiko at AKL has a wine tasting late afternoon on Wednesdays. We have not done this yet.

There are also several tequila flights at La Cava Del Tequila in Mexico.

As the PP mentioned, just about all the kiosks at F&W and F&G offer some sort of alcohol to try and several offer beer flights. I am pretty sure that during F&W there are a few wine or beer tasting seminars. We LOVE F&W and F&G for the kiosks but have yet to try any of the special events that are going on.

Flying Fish (which is currently closed for refurb until November) has a Chef's Wine Tasting Dinner which was very enjoyable. There were 4 or 5 courses served, each paired with a wine. The Wanyama Safari (only available for AKL guests) also has a multi-course meal at Jiko each paired with a wine (and they will refill your glass as often as you want). These are not cheap experiences, but are both worth the money, IMO.

As mentioned, Germany, Italy and France all have wine tastings, there is also a small one at Japan. The one at AKL is hard to get into so if you are interested in that, book early, it takes an ADR. The ones in the countries at Epcot are just in the shops. Italy has one in it's wine shop and they have a wine bar (love it). Some of the restaurants also offer wine flights, I know Hollywood Brown Derby does. If you can make F&W, there are little wine seminars at the festival center every day, there are two or three a day and last year I think they were $15 ea (I have an AP so I got a discount during the week so don't remember). The only thing about those is you have to be careful because they do repeat them and the description only says things like California wines or Florida wines so you won't really know if you are going to the same one (I made that mistake last year, thankfully I liked the vineyard). As far as beer flights, not sure if anyone offers those but every country at Epcot has some sort of beer and there are some interesting ones at AK.
