Wine at intimate reception?

Juliana told me I could order a few bottles of wine for the small reception instead of champagne.. since my family wants something different! We are doing to the whole speech thing at our home reception anyway. I am, of course, keep the free champagne (pretty much because it says fairy tale on it!) Did anyone ever do this? And how much did it cost?
