Windsor Palms ?

I am so confused. I have been to Wyndham Palms but am interseted in Windsor Palms. Is this the place with just homes ? I did not go in and look. Is there more than one location? I will look on their site but truly I would rather have impressions from those who have been there. Any pictures ??

We have stayed in Windsor Palms three times and will be going again in feb next year.

It's a gated community, you need to be staying on the site to get in. They have villas with private pools of various sizes and also have condos, which are a bit like flats but huuuugeeeeeee!!

There is a communal pool to use and an on site cinema and gym. It's a lovely place to stay.

If you go to their site and search for windsor palms villas you can view the inside rooms as well.

But I guess I am asking what exactly is the concept. ARe they private homes in a gated communtiy that are purchased like a timeshare? Who cleans up when you leave?

they are privately owned, a cleaning company is employed to come in when you leave to clean up. you don't get any cleaning while you are there, unless you do it yourself!!

and the apartment/townhome/house is cleaned before and after you arrive. You are responsible for keeping the home neat while you are there. If I am not mistaken, the cleaning fee is waived if you stay 7 nights or more by most owners.

We are renting a 3 bdrm condo for the first full week of December. The cost for the entire week for this size is less than I would pay for a value for one room. Since we have a toddler and my mom travelling with us, we need the space.

sorry to keep bugging people about this but I have been to Fla for our last 10 yrs and I am astonished I did not know about this place.

You said the cost was less than one value room. Are You saying the cost is less than say 99 per day for a condo?? So say a 2 bdrm is like 700 per week?

Also, I still have not gotten an answer, is it located right before Wyndham Palms? I saw a sign when we were there but then I read somewhere that it was a new development and that they were having trouble getting it built. I kNOW there is a Windsor Palms right next to Wyndham Palms so I guess the question is are there two locations?

I'm not Janets but I can answer your question. Yes, a 3-bedroom 2-bath 1400 square foot condo at Windsor Palms rents for under $90/nite. A 2-bed rents as low as $65 or so /nite.

The complex was built in 2001. They have 2 and 3 bed condos, 3 bed townhomes and 3-6 bed pool homes. All privately owned and privately rented. It is not a timeshare.

We are staying at Windsor Palms from Oct. 17 - Oct. 27. We are renting a 3bd/2ba condo for 10 nights for $784.00 (taxes included). They are not timeshares, but privately owned condos and homes. Windsor Palms is located off of 192. Wyndham Palms Resort is located on International Drive I believe. We rented thru AAA Dream Homes, a management company. I hope that the confusion about Wyndham Palms and Windsor Palms will be cleared up soon!!! :thewave:

No it is Wyndham Palms Golf Resort of which I speak maybe that is where the confusion is coming in. It is not Wyndham Palms on I dirve.
