Has anyone stayed at Windsor Palms?

Is it nice??

I am thinking about renting a 2 bed. condo there.

I called them and they gave me a list of rental companies that owners work with.

Does anyone know of where I can find info from private owners without going with these companies? I would like to save the middle-man money if I could.

I stayed at Windsor Palms last April. Got a 2 bedroom condo for $55/night through an agency. It was a nice place. The only thing they didn't have was an elevator. Unfortunately we were on the 3rd floor (top floor) and it was quite a trudge especially when lugging suitcases. But I would do it again, just have to get in training first or see if I can get a first floor.

We stayed in a 3-bedroom condo at Windsor Palms in March 2002 and absolutely loved both the unit and the whole property. We looked at booking through a company but ended up renting from a private owner we found through www.vrbo.com. We had a first floor unit in the building closest to the clubhouse and pool.

I strongly recommend taking a look on the vrbo.com website (there is a section specifically for Kissimmee/Windsor Palms under the Central Florida/Orlando area). You should be able to find a unit there that's to your liking and probably at a very good price too.

We've stayed here as well and will be again in Sept and next January. We rent from www.closesttodisney.com and have had no problems.

We requested first floor as my mom can't do steps so well...it is a nice community and good value for the money.

We will be there on Wednesday (2/18) in a 2 bedroom condo we booked through www.florida-value.com. We got it for $49.00 a night.! Can't beat that!
