Windsor Palms

Yes! We stayed here last May and are returning this year as well. Keep in mind that each unit is individually owned so units may vary. It seemed to us that many were rental units but there were also many units that had year round residents. The pool was never crowded since many of the people actually had to go to work instead of vacationing!! The price was very reasonably priced and the condo was spacious, quiet and clean. It had a small but effiecient kitchen which was open to a dining table/livingroom area, and had a full size washer/dryer as well. Our unit had 3 brs and 2 baths. There was even a little screened in porch to get outside and sit in the warmth. The location was very convenient as well. It is easily found right off the main road. There was more than enough shopping and plenty of restaurants very close by. The local tourist magazine booklets in the lobby had many discount coupons for things in the area. It is a short drive to anything Disney (maybe 10-15 minutes start to stop) and we found it was actually nice to head to the parks early, get out when the mid-day crowds took over, go back and eat or swim or nap... then head back out refreshed later on. It was that close! Hope this helps!:yay:

I can't add anything yet....but our first stay will be in about two months. We are staying in a pool home in Windsor Palms during Spring Break and we are very excited to go!!!

We've stayed at Windsor Palms twice. Once in a 3-bedroom condo and once in a 3-bedroom townhome. Both were excellent. Very nice accomodations. Very well-kept property. As noted, units are all individually owned, so furnishings, prices and little extra amenities can vary from unit to unit, but I think overall the quality is excellent.

Yes! Winsdsor Palms is awesome, and the location is great.

We rented a 4 BR house there in Dec '05 and are renting another house there this August. The Dec '05 house was GORGEOUS, and the photos of the upcoming rental look great too. The only reason we didn't rent the same house twice is because we are saving about 25% by renting directly from an owner vs. going through an agency.

I hope you have a wonderful trip!!!:thumbsup2

We have stayed at Windsor Palms twice as well... The first time was in a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom condo in December of 2004. The second time we stayed was in a 6 bedroom 3.5 bath pool home. We enjoyed both stays immensely. The location is wonderful! There is a shortcut road that you can use that will take you to Disney property with less traffic. (I think the name of the road is Sherberth Road....)
