Okay, first, this is a re scheduled trip... what a pain that was, changing the house/air/car, etc! We bought a new house and were remodeling when we were supposed to be at MK! The week we were supposed to be gone, I went back and forth between "I'm SO glad we're here" to "I wish we were in MK!" So, now, the remodel is DONE (as of today) and we leave Sunday for the MK!
My first success was in our rental car; I had booked using some discounts I found somewhere online, got a full size for $205, including taxes/fees, etc. but had been playing with Priceline whenever I had time, well, 2 days ago, PL accepted $30 a day for a PREMIUM car - ends up being about $10 less for the week, but a LeSabre/Park Ave vs a Taurus/Malibu! I know rental cars are not a big deal to some people, but we really enjoy a nice rental car, if we are renting...
Next, today, I called Windsor Palms to confirm our house/dates, etc., and found out they had upgraded us from a 4/2 house with pool/spa, to 6/3.5 with the nicest pool/spa in the neighborhood! Plus, it backs up to the privacy fence! We'll have enough bedrooms to sleep in a different one every night!
Finally, the weather here (E. Tenn, Smoky Mtns) has been 70's, is dropping to 20-30 at night, high only 40's starting Sunday! Thankfully, we'll be in the air on our way to 80's!!!
