Windsor Palms or Windsor Hills

Last summer we stayed at Windsor Palms and LOVED IT!!!

We are looking at staying at either Windsor Palms or Windsor Hills and wondering if anyone who has stayed at both would share their preference?

My family has stayed at both and loved both of them. If we had to choose between the two, Windsor Hills would probably get the vote primarily due to the pool w/ slide and the nicer play ground area. My daughter loved both of these features. However, you really can't go wrong with either.

That's how I'm leaning too. Both are open at this point, so we have our choice!

One note to add... if you are getting a villa with its own pool, I would strongly consider price as the tie-breaker. Our kids were very happy to splash around in our pool rather than go to the (admittedly very nice) pool at Windsor Hills.

So... if you have a pool go by price, if not then I would lean Windsor Hills.

You can not go wrong with either resort, both are beautiful and in a great area. Close to the parks, I4, restaurants, mini golf, packy and markets.

We stayed in a house with a pool in Windsor Palms in 2007. We chose a condo at Windsor Hills in 2008. Both were nice, but I'd go back to Windsor Hills over Windsor Palms. We were near the back of Windsor Palms and in the mornings there was a definite sewage smell when we walked outside. I've seen other people mention this and I think it really has to do with where you are staying in the subdivision.

We stayed in Windsor Hills and LOVED it! Haven't stayed in WP, so I can't give you a comparison.

I highly recommend Romancing the Mouse.

We stayed in their 5bd/5bath house with my inlaws. It was great. They gave such personalized service. They were at the house to meet us (no stopping anywhere else for keys!) with muffins & juice, fresh baked cookies and flowers! They also stopped by at the end of the week with chocolate covered strawberries. They gave us a tour of the house showing us how everything worked and were willing to stay as long/short as we liked giving us tips on which grocery stores to go to, shortcuts to Disney, etc. They even left us their cell phone number and encouraged us to call whenever we needed anything. Simply fabulous - cannot recommend them more highly!

They have 2 houses in Windsor Palms and 2 in Windsor Hills - and they're right next to each other, so if you're going in a large party you could split into 2 houses and still be virtually together.
