I am looking at renting a townhome at Latitude Adjustment in Windsor Hills. I have been quoted what I think is a superb price, however they want payment in full right now via Paypal.

Has anyone experienced this before? Standard practice?

Thanks for your help!

Depends on when your trip is. Some owners require payment in full 60 days prior to your trip................others 30 days.

Sometimes the owner will give you a better price if you pay in full when you make the booking if it's months away but usually more than two months out you pay a deposit then the rest on the 60 day mark (more or less). But if it's less than 60 days from your trip when you book then you'll have to pay it all now. Each owner has a different number of days but this is normally how it is.

I'm sure it's the dates that requiring the prepay. Those are prime holiday dates. Enjoy your trip. We love windsor hills. We'll be there the same time you are. We're renting a 5 br house this time though because we're bringing lots of family with.

I agree. You can't get anymore prime that Christmas-New Years week. That probably is why they want full payment now.

We stayed at Windsor Hills last December, also in a 5 br house called Pooh's Palace. Absolutely wonderful place, would do it again in a heart beat. When bringing a crowd along, you just can't beat having the space and privacy that a house provides, over staying on property. And the price, compared to staying in a Disney hotel, is way less.

Having stayed in townhouses and vacation homes in Windsor Hills and Windsor Palms, I can honestly say I can't see why anyone would stay on site, unless they had that suite in Cinderella's Castle!!!! Anyway, you have been told all the right things... usually full payment is due 60 - 90 days in advance, but the holiday season is different. Such a high demand, etc. You will really appreciate getting away from the theme park crush that much more at that time of year. Enjoy your house! Windsor Hills Resort is beautiful.

I have never stayed at WH before, but we are renting there this October. We payed a $250 deposit with the rest due 60 days out. Honestly, I would hesitate to pay in full 6 months in advance if I didn't have some recommendations or something, especially if it is quite a bit lower than the going rate. If nothing else, I'd contact the rental company to find out how long they've owned the house and if it is rented on a regular basis. It's probably just as previous posters said, and because of the holiday dates, but it's safest to check.
