does anyone Canadian own a rental in windsor hills, near wdw?

It seems like I did see one when I was looking but couldn't find it. Any reason that you need a Can. owner or are you just curious. We've stayed there 3 times and it's really nice.

just wanted to know what their experiences have been owning, thats all. we are staying there in december and my husband is keen on looking at ones that are available to purchase....but i want to talk to a canadian to see if it is worth it.

We're going to be staying there for our first time this November.

DH was curious and wanted to know how much they sell for. We saw a few of them online for $279,900 (townhouses) and almost $500K for the larger 4/5/6 bedroom homes.

That's pretty on par to prices around here so I was a little suprised.

We also were curious about buying a place a windsor hills (because it sounds so nice). We saw a condo for $178,000. The owners we are renting from bought theirs for about $177,000 and with the US market now, I would imagine one can get it at a lower price now. Seems like a lot of work owning property so far away, but who knows, it could be a great investment.

We have thought about it also. I know another thread was talking about how it would work if you had a group of people buy a property. I thought about asking some family members if they wanted to purchase together?? We have even talked about a transfer through work and move there??? I would be interested in finding out how the vacation properties work. Can you only live in them a certain amount time of year? How long do people rent them for before them become to old to rent out? They had a seminar last May in Windsor Hills when we were and we wish we would have went. We would like to eventually be snowbirds down there, but that is a ways away!!!
