Windsor Hills/Windsor Palms Shuttle

I understand there is a shuttle service to the parks. Does anyone know about fees for use? Anything about frequency/timing? We'll have a car, certainly, but would like to know our options.

Shuttle is run by Maingate Transportation. Has to be booked in advance. Tickets are $10-$15 per person (return) depending on destination. (Disney is $10, Universal $15, I believe).

I know you can book tickets at the Clubhouse in Windsor Palms, would guess that WH is the same.

Schedule varies according to season (and opening hours) and there is usually 1 or 2 shuttle times in the morning and the same in the evening.

I think its a great option if you have teens who may want to head to universal by themselves whilst you go to WDW, or for large groups where some may want to visit different parks and not rely on one or two people to shuttle them around.

Maingate Taxi – (407) 870-5553
- Shuttles to Disney are $10/per person. They run at 9:20 am and 12:00 pm from the clubhouse. Return from the park can be at 5:00 pm, 8:00 pm or 9:30 pm.
- Shuttles to Universal are $14/per person. They run at 8:30 am or 10:55 am from the clubhouse. Return trips are scheduled with the driver at 5:15 pm, or 7:15 pm depending on the day.
- Taxis are also available
- No wheelchair access but can fit the w/c in the back and carry person into vehicle

- $50 roundtrip up to 8 people to Disney
- $70 roundtrip up to 8 people to Universal
- Taxis are $45 each way
- These prices are discounted for Windsor Hills guests
- Personal van that will pick you up on the doorstep and you can schedule anytime
- No w/c ramp access, but can fit the w/c in the back and carry person into vehicle

There is also an individual taxi driver who works out of Windsor Hills named Hassan. He can accommodate up to 16 people and has been found to give very reasonable rates to guests.

With those rates, we'll definitely plan to spend the majority of our travel in a our van. It's nice to know there are some options though if some of us need to go back to the house early. Thanks!
