After reading all the rave reviews, I'm now seriously wondering if we should look at Windsor Hills for our stay.

But, with only three of us, I'm wondering... has anyone out there actually rented a 2 BR condo? Would you mind giving your opinion?

DH an I travel with no kids just the 2 of us. We did not stay at Windsor Hills but another place in June paid just as much as we would have at some of the Windsor Hills units but I couldn't get him goin in that direction we do have ressies for Windsor Hills 2 bed unit tho later this year.

The 2 bedroom to bath is worth every penny to us.

1 I put my stuff in 2nd bedroom an shower in the 2nd bath we can both get ready at same time without falling all over each other.

2. We usually travel on a harley an very limited on what we can pack so washer an dryer is a must for us an I hate sharing washers at hotels outside of disney, disney washers an dryers are much nicer than in most hotels.

3. We are able to cook a few meals saving money on eating out.

4. I hate hotel rooms DH an I don't sleep the same number of hours an having a condo gives me a place to be awake reading, watchin tv etc without disturbing him.

5. With a kid along it gives the kid a private place to sleep an play an you an DH will get some intimate time in.

6. With a washer an dryer in unit you can do laundry an pack much less. We stripped off our clothes from park as we entered the unit washer an dryer was right there by the door. We could have gotten by with 3 changes of clothes no problem. That was in June.

As far as it taking up vacation time doing laundry I never felt that way. Doing laundry at night or durin afternoon break works well. Usually we up an hour or so after returning from park at closing throw laundry in washer if I still up I put it in dryer till morning then fold.

Even if you only do breakfast in your unit I think it would be worth it. Arrival day 1st thing we do is unload then go to store do our shopping. I take inventory of cooking supplies pans an such while DH unloads. We go do our shopping get back to the unit. DH helps put away what we bought I fry up sausage an bacon for our stay while DH unpacks his stuff I unpack while he does dishes. Along with the sausage or bacon I fry eggs in the am an either have toast or waffles I can get breakfast on table in less than 5 mins.

We stayed in a 2 bdrm condo through this gentleman - reasonable rates easy to deal with but only rents sat -sat

We own DVC but the dates we wanted were not available a few years back so we stayed at WH - NOW its not a villa at one of the DVC units but it was very nice and had everything we needed AND VERY CLOSE to all that is WDW VERY CLOSE!

Hi, we are staying at Windsor Hills in October. We rented a 3 bedroom condo, but there are only 4 of us - 2 adults, and my daughters (age 4 and 2.) I think we will be glad to have extra room.

Last time we went, it was just 3 of us, but we got a 3 bedroom townhouse. I started looking for a 2 bedroom condo, but the prices were so close that we went with the 3 br townhouse. Was nice to have the splash pool and not have to worry about what floor we would be on.

I agree with the previous post, that even for 3 people I would do a 3 br 3 ba townhouse at WH as there isn't a big price difference vs. the WH condos and you have your own splash pool.

Another consideration, have you tried Bonnet Creek? We are here now and the 2 br 2 ba would also be plenty of room for the three of you. They have tons of activities throughout the day and have several pools here which makes it nice. I have found that if you are patient and do some research, you can find wonderful prices here at BC.

Our family is just 3 (unless we bring DD's best friend with), and we always look for at least 2 br, 2 ba. Being a teen, she needs her space and it is much easier on our nerves for her to have her own space which includes a bathroom.

If you do do a 2 br condo at WH, I believe building 8 is right across from the pool. You may want to consider that.

After doing off property condos/townhouses, you get spoiled with all the room and the comforts. Good luck and have fun!

Heck, there were only 3 of us and we rented a 6 bedroom house last Christmas. We have a night-owl teen and we got spoiled by the game room and the private pool when we went with big groups in the past, so we just paid the $$$ and everyone was happy. DD did stop by for a few days, but most of the time it was just the 3 of us.
Also, another time we rented a big house and invited people to join us in the rental of the house, but not really the WDW stuff. So they went to the beach and Universal and we went to WDW and Discovery Cove during the day and then had dinner together at night - it was a blast.

I would definitely do it. We haven't rented one there, but we've rented other 2-bedroom units and I highly recommend it. The 3 of us are going later this month and renting a 3-bedroom house because we want our own pool.

This is what we did and there are only 3 of us :thumbsup2

there were no rooms at our favorite Disney Resort/suite...SO we are Trying a WINDSOR HILLS 3bd/ 3 bath townhome for the 4 of us.....CANNOT wait- here is where we are staying and the price by far beats a HOTEL ROOM!!!:
