Winds at Castaway Cay - What’s too windy to dock?

I know there are times that the Dream cannot dock at Castaway because it’s too windy… Does anybody know if it’ll still dock with gusts up to 20 mph and normal winds at about 15 mph?

We docked in December and it was SO windy I’m surprised that we managed to dock. It wasn’t a pleasant morning on CC as it was just so windy, although Serenity Bay was a bit more sheltered.

I don’t know the exact speed of the wind where they have issues docking but I’ve read it’s more the direction of the wind vs the speed of the wind.

There are multiple factors besides wind speed -- direction of the wind, direction and strength of the currents, etc. That's why sometimes the ship is able to dock but other times it is not even with seemingly similar conditions.

We docked at CC on the Treasure in October when it was so windy that no umbrellas were allowed to be opened on Castaway. We have been to castaway so many times and never been there when it was too windy for umbrellas. We wondered if a smaller DCL ship could have docked with the wind speeds that day.
