Did anyone upgrade from the 8.1 version to the 10 version? Which did you prefer?

I really like 8.1 so am hesitant to make the jump.

I jumped from 7 to 10 and haven't had any issues. The biggest thing I'm getting used to is typing in the name of programs I want to run instead of looking at "all programs". I don't know how 8.1 handles that.

Yes 8.1 is the same in that regard. You type in what you want. Took a little getting used to but absolutely love it now.

You could do that in 7, too.

I like it a lot. I don't like the new browser though. It freezes and isn't very compatible with the platform for my online courses. I went back to Chrome for that, but I think Windows 10 is easier to use.

Windows 8 is a solution in search of a problem . . . Pretty much the same for 10, just less annoying.

I really like 10, much better than 8 in my opinion. It is less annoying and seems to be somewhat easier on the battery on my laptop, which came packaged with Windows 8. I upgraded as soon as I could. I'm still not sure I like it well enough to give up Windows 7 on my desktop, though.

I'd upgrade to 10, although 8.1 is a lot closer to 10 than the original 8.0 was.

10 is about the same as 7 for me but far superior to 8 or 8.1.

I did the free upgrade late last night and got it up and running this morning. Not sure what I think about it yet. I can say that out of all, I think I like XP best, but hard to say if it is because I am not used to 10 yet, or because I hate change, LOL.

We shall see.........
