you know i couldn't decide about buying one of those or a bean bag for our last trip and instead got one of those foam noodle things kids play with in the pool , cut a piece off and cut slit in it and pushed it over my open window...worked for me and cost 1.50 for oh probably 10 or so,depending how long a piece you cut. it gives a better grip than just the window would but is easier to get on, off and move the camera around and much cheaper than other stuff i found. i don't really like having to adjust tripods and that was what put me off mostly with the one you pictured but the bean bags were more than i wanted to spend for an occasional use
