I want to order some new blinds on-line. Any recommendations or places to avoid? Thanks!

We have Hunter Douglas cellular shades in every room of our house. They are great!

We recently bought two Levolor cellular shades for our master bedroom. They are the cut-to-size ones from Lowe's, and they were about 75% cheaper than the Hunter Douglas, and they are maybe even a little better.

Smith and Noble!!!!

We have Hunter Douglas cellular blinds on our front picture window. It's 99" across, and we actually have 3 blinds, one large center one, and two smaller side ones.

The larger middle one ripped after about 9 years. I contacted Smith and Noble and they replaced the middle one at no charge, and offered us a very generous discount to replace the two side ones, as the colors would be off, since the two smaller ones had been in the sun, and the brand new one would not have.

I thought that was outstanding customer service.

They are a little spendy, but for that type of service, worth every penny to us.

We got all our blinds at Blinds to Go. Not anywhere near as pricey as Smith & Noble, but good customer service as well. They don't carry name brands. They make their own. Turn around time is fast.

After 5 years, we're happy with them.
