WIn Media player - help

I'm trying to insert my playlist (1 song actually) that has been saved & named into windows movie maker - when I go into import music & then click on playlists in movie maker it says the playlist is empty,.

what have I forgotten to do to get my song from Media player?

manually. if you right click the name of the song in your windows media player, and find the file location, go to that location, and manually dragndrop that file into your my music folder
 
ok - thanks I'll try that. Ya know I was just thinking that maybe that the song wasn't actually downloaded from the net that it was just playing on media player

Are you sure it's a WMA or MP3 file? I've never used movie maker. It might have formatted it into a different format. :confused3

k the choices I had to pick from were MP3 & realmedia. I chose the MP3 one to try & add in -
 
It should work as an MP3 file.

:scratchin How about if you drag & drop it in your "My Music" folder? Whenever I download music, I just put it all in that folder and Win Media Player automatically finds them there.


Whoops! I see mickilee said the same folder.

When you double click on the music file, does it start to play?
