I got an email from them the other day. Basically they've been sold to Double Tree Resorts and have had some remodeling done. Has anyone been there since this happened(or live close to it)? Has anything changed much?
Thanks- my family enjoys staying here on our trips and we hope it doesn't change much:)

I grew up going to Willow Valley. Both my brother & I actually learned how to swim in their pool. I don't know how recent the remodel you're talking about happened, but the last time I was there, about 3 years ago, they had just finished a major refurb of their newer pool. It's now more like a (very small) indoor "waterpark" I guess you could call it. Don't know if that's what you're talking about or if it is something more recent.

I love it there! Hopefully someone can give you more info.

The remodeling just finished recently, and I mean recently. In fact, I think it was only last week (or it could have even been the beginning of this week) that the local news did a story on the remodel. I don't know if much has changed but I do know that they now serve alcohol at the new bar there. In the last election, people voted for the borough/municipality to no longer be "dry". It looked really nice in the piece that aired on the news. HTH! :thumbsup2

You can probably still view the news segment at wgal.com and see for yourself what it looks like.

I was there about a year ago, so it has happened since then. The email said there's a new café that serves alcohol- the resort used to be dry.

Thanks- just looked at the slide show. The 1st time I stayed there I didn't know it was dry- I did a drive and found a beer store;). This could be an interesting change:)
